Dec 7th 2010 3:16PM Take notice, after the Belf starts dancing, watch what the Tauten does! lol!
Dec 6th 2010 5:22PM This would be nice it would, why not.
Nov 29th 2010 11:59PM Yeah, especially when the stick knocks the dragon down & then hits one of the houses. Priceless.
Nov 28th 2010 9:26AM I don't know why, but I liked the Human starting area best, least would be the Draenei area. I think it mostly has to do with their environments. As for the others, the Night Elf area was good, I would sometimes get bored Dwarf/Gnome area. I never rolled Horde much, but the Forsaken are was good, Blood Elf area was pretty.
The Death Knight Starting area was probably the most fun.
With the revamp on all the vanilla starting zones I'll have to give them a fresh try.
Nov 20th 2010 7:04PM I have a 2 part question:
First, I have a question about Death Knights & their starting zone/quest areas, now near the end of their starting quest you end up at the Light's Hope Chapel, now what I want to know is since the DK starting zone effectively takes place in the past what with the Lich King all alive n' stuff, will Light's Hope Chapel look like it did, or will it be the post Cataclysm upgraded version? I hope they don't use the updated version as that would be paradoxical brain twister.
Secondly, when flying into the the Ghostlands & beyond, since these areas are in the Burning Crusade Expansion, will there be an invisible wall & you still have to use the portal, or will there be a quick loading screen where ever you cross the boarder?
Nov 18th 2010 10:36PM @Darkke "If you look at the elemental bosses as a way to gear up 80 alts for cataclysm, 1 week looks like a pretty short time for that."
The whole invasion will still be happening after "the shattering", I spent some time on the PTR yesterday where the shattering has been implemented & the pre-cata events were still going strong; rifts across the lands, cultists running around, elemental city invasions, etc. So people will still have time to fight the bosses, likely all the way up to Dec. 7th.
On a side note, The Park is gone in Stormwind, but the elementals & guards were still spawning in midair & dropping, kinda funny, but I also hope the fix that before they go live as it would be none to easy to close a rift in a section that no longer exists.
Nov 3rd 2010 9:39AM My night Elf Druid is my main, our Guild Leader's main is a Night Elf Druid, It's a fun class, versatile, & interesting. Shadowmeld is a handy racial ability too.
Oct 24th 2010 12:20PM That's great incite into the workings of the cinematics. Did anyone ask if they're ever going to make anything longer than a few minutes? Hell, I'd even take 15-30 min in length.
I always wished they'd do a history style movie, go back, show the old world, show things from the 1st, 2nd, & 3rd wars, show how Outland was created, the rise & fall of WarCraft's greatest heroes & villains, all in their epic cinematic format.
Oct 20th 2010 11:29PM When I was new to the game & very very naive I was a low level human warrior & I wanted to get to Darnassus. What I didn't know was that Stormwind had a boat that went to Auberdine, so I went to to Menethil Harbor took a boat to Theramore Isle & started walking. Dustwallow Marsh ate me up & spat me out several, several, ...several times. When I finally made it all the way to Auberdine I almost immediately noticed the sign on the dock indicating there was a boat to Stormwind... how foolish I thought of myself, that I dragged myself though that hell, only to find that it was only a quick, safe, boat ride from Stormwind. So, at much higher levels I went back to Dustwallow Marsh busted up the place a bit.
Also, when I hit 80 on a toon, I go to Outland & test how well I can take down a Fel Reaver solo, quite satisfying.
Oct 17th 2010 12:22PM What ever happened to those Tauren weapons from WarCraft III? You know, the giant log things.
