I think this an amazing start for the leveling experience, but rather underwhelming for lvl 80 mages looking forward to enhancing their endgame experience.
I know it's just an early look, but so far Arcane is the only tree that looks interesting. I thought the whole point of this change was to add viability to more specs.
Ah well, looking forward to the changes they'll make.

Jul 14th 2010 8:11PM I'm a little confused. Can you get the first tier mastery abilities from each tree, while specializing in one down to the 31st talent?
What i mean is, can an arcane mage specced 31/3/7 have arcane barrage + all the arcane goodies, AND have Pyroblast AND Water elemental?
I'm guessing no, but hoping yes :P
