Asda are creating more small stores because they can't get planning permission for the big stores they want.
And anyone who thinks that Asda and their ilk launching into smaller stores will in any way help the 'Mom and Pop' stores they'll be opening next to needs their heads examined.

Choose your own reason for buying organic - I buy organic eggs and meat because they taste better to me, and because of the welfare aspects. I don't buy organic veg and fruit, as I can't taste the difference.

Jul 21st 2010 10:50AM I must confess I'm not a huge fan of deep dish pizza, I prefer mine New York style, but Chicago Hot Dogs are just to die for. The 'drag it through the garden' comment brough back happy memories of being most confused when a vendor asked me this, and I said, no thanks, I'll eat it right here!
Still one of the best places I've ever eaten was lunch at the Chicago Institute of Culinary Arts. It was incredibly cheap, and I'd happily rate it above lunch at all the one-star places I've eaten.
