Jan 2nd 2011 4:29PM Do WPL quests
Jan 1st 2011 6:48PM Something that was not mentioned here was spellpower's effect on Unleash Elements. If I were you, I would see the change in this ability only with these setups. 2 UE Flames would make your next Flame shock do 100% more damage, as well.

SHHH....we play a videogame, common sense should not be used
Jan 1st 2011 12:53AM Idk how I feel about the ret changes. I know we're on the lower end of the damage meter (yes I have most of my caps, barely under hit), but it's a tad ridiculous. I remember someone saying that Crusade did not work with Templar's Verdict. Idk if that has been fixed.
Why I like the changes: MORE DMG MUAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
Why I dislike them: less complicated rotation.
I played an Enh Shaman during Wrath so I understand the JOHN F*CKING MADDEN mentality of a dps, and I enjoy it. I'm not going to complain about a simpler rotation, just if it's TOO simple. Almost every PuG for ICC I went to on my pally treated me like an idiot for being ret. I would be topping, or close to topping meters, I knew fights, and I would not stand in fire (when the fire wasn't broken like in 4.0.1 where NO ONE could see it). I do not want the return of all ret paladins are retards. Just like Wrath it needs to die in a fire started by Deathwing.
Jan 1st 2011 12:48AM HAHA! dude....ret pally is hard as hell right now. *plays McDs theme song* ^_^

This has been the design for combat rogues for awhile. I know since rogues could wield axes and combat got [Hack And Slash] that rogues have a slow MH and fast OH. GC isn't taking control, tbh. They design a class/spec this way and people don't know.
For example, my guildie made and lvl'd a rogue from 4.0.1 or 4.0.3 straight to 85 and plays him. He is a great rogue and does about 8k dps (this was before I helped him with caps, he does around 9 or so on a good melee boss). Mind you this is heroics and he doesn't have all the good buffs. He did not know combat rogues were supposed to use a fast OH and it is not 100% clear why. There is a talent that your offhand attacks can generate 20 energy. That sounds great! However, that's all your offhand should be doing (outside of poisons that is). So as a combat rogue, you want your offhand to generate as much energy as possible. More damage does NOT increase the chance but hitting the target more often DOES. Therefore, having a faster offhand weapon can increase the chances you get to receive 20 energy which is a HUGE dps increase. Think of the difference between receiving 200 energy from a 2.60 (which is the fastest offhand 1h sword/axe/mace with agility) versus about 400 from a 1.40 dagger (there are no fast blade/mace weapons at this point)
Dec 31st 2010 7:58PM SEE! Tol Barad is like this due to whiners of the tenacity system. Bring back tenacity and problem solved. This equal team thing is crappy on my server when only 1-2 allies even pvp in Tol Barad.
Dec 27th 2010 11:44AM One thing I don't like about holy light from 80-85 is that it's mostly increased in mana. I know this is the beginning of the expansion and things will change, but I feel like Holy Light throughput has dropped significantly. Now to clarify, I mean the holy light of 4.0.1 not the one of wrath. I know I have to be smart with my heals, but when it crits usually for 10k and flash does more than that without critting, I feel like it's not balanced right.
If this is wrong, don't flame me. I just expected Holy Light to be a medium slow heal while Flash was a mildy weak but fast heal.
Dec 22nd 2010 3:04PM I has question. If Ragnaros is fire, why not throw water and/or baking soda on him?

Will we ever know Sylvanas's true intentions? This is pure speculation. I have done Tirisfal, Hillsbrad and Silverpine. One quote struck me as odd. In the quest The New Forsaken, the text says, "We no longer cower in the homes that we once claimed when we were alive. We go into new lands!" (well not exactly, but you get the idea)
So WHY is the Forsaken capital the Undercity still? In the Arthas novel, it was a place for thieves and debtors. Many Forsaken would fall under that category (at least pre-Cata Forsaken) since Arthas probably went into the Undercity and killed thousands of people there. Also, only a handful of people in Lordaeron were well off during this time due to the high taxes from then shut down internment camps.
I think the Forsaken will begin to develop in a new way in this expansion. Without the Lich King and the Scourge, they remain the main force to bring the dead back to life. This holds true for the Death Knights of the Ebon Hold as well. I would not be surprised if Mograine no longer sends them to Garrosh, but to Sylvanas. Those two are a good match (no sexual innuendos since they're dead). Blizzard may have set up an alliance of the undead in some future patch.
(BTW Are the Forsaken the only race to do horrible things? No race has ever survived in Warcraft completely blameless.)
