Aug 18th 2011 1:51PM Their names already appear in Yellow and Red. Why do they need to glow?
Aug 18th 2011 1:51PM This is a good change and allows Word of Warcraft to move into the current decade in regards to game design. It may just breathe new life into the system and stem the tide of subscription cancellations.
More so than a cross-faction race like the Pandarens, I'd like to see players able to switch sides through deceit, double-agency, and other mechanisms. In a diverse world such as Azeroth, faction lines will not always be drawn by racial hatreds. There will be humans willing to work with the Orcs. Forsaken feeding information to the Alliance to line their pockets. Trolls reaching out to fellow shaman in the dwarves. And more scenarios like this.
This would allow the geo-political intrigue to blossom and create an entirely new game dynamic. Plus mechanic-wise, you would be able to play with your friends regardless of faction.
Aug 18th 2011 1:46PM The Night Elves are actually fashioned after the Drow of RPG legends and lore. Unfortunately, they have been toned down in World of Warcraft and its stories. Originally, they were a very bloodthirsty race based on a stringent matriarchal society. Not necessarily evil but ruthless when it came to getting things done. Blizzard has released concept art and interviews in the past about this.
Aug 15th 2011 2:16PM Just so you know... One can become a registered sex offender simply by stopping by the side of the road to relieve themselves or streaking across a college campus. These are considered Lewd Acts and requires lifetime registration in many states. It doesn't necessarily have to be a crime against someone else.
Something to think about before you condemn someone.
Aug 15th 2011 11:39AM I am usually tanking or healing in any raid. I don't care who tops what meter as long as the boss is dead in the end.
Aug 6th 2011 12:47PM Not really something that can be answered by The Queue. They could agree or disagree but they have no bearing on the output of Blizzard in the final say of things.
Aug 4th 2011 9:56PM This doesn't work across characters does it? I do something similar but since my crafting is done on different characters than I sell on, I do it manually.
Aug 3rd 2011 11:16AM I play Alliance on Wyrmrest and the role-play is pretty good. Dozens of taverns running nightly in different cities, dozens of guilds running their own plots and campaigns. Not sure about the Horde side. Haven't really seen moonguard lite but haven't looked for it either. Like all role-play servers, we have our fair share of griefers as well. I just ignore them and move on personally.
Aug 2nd 2011 11:31AM There isn't any way to tell in game. See if your guild has a rank specifically for these members. Many do.
Aug 2nd 2011 11:29AM Never experienced anything like this. Do you have any addons that do something automatically when you zone?
