Nov 14th 2011 1:42AM I like how they completely dodged the question of "What cool new totems are we getting?" and then basically answered the same question twice.
Nov 1st 2011 8:51PM I like how your self-abuse goes blue before your well-thought out response.
Oct 28th 2011 2:51PM Same as me. I was gearing my Shaman up and threw together a shit Elemental spec to go through heroics with some geared guildies. I wasn't doing my best DPS because I kept watching the bars instead of the enemy and throwing out heals when it looked tough.
I have a great many skilled healers in my guild, but I always ALWAYS take healing when we form guild groups for whatever because I can't just relax when DPSing.
Oct 28th 2011 2:48PM Yet another for healing. Everyone keeps telling me how awesome bosses look, but they look the same in every fight for me: your green bars.
I like it that way. I feel like I'm playing a kind of metagame. With the wealth of information coming from my raid frames as well as the perspective I get from standing with the ranged, I generally have a sense that I'm a general/observer. More often than not, I'm the one calling shit out on Vent because the Tanks can't see past the boss' knees and the DPS are doing their DPSiest.
Oct 23rd 2011 7:19PM Nobody's going to miss you.
Oct 23rd 2011 7:17PM I'm incredibly excited about these talent changes. I can already think of situations where I'd want to switch between different ones for different fights which is something that just didn't happen enough in Cata despite their best efforts.
Oct 23rd 2011 6:51PM I think the sooner that we, as a community, stop thinking about these as talents in the old way and think of them more like glyphs the better...because that's kinda what they are. They change an ability or give you a new one that's based on your particular playstyle.
I'm pretty sure they mentioned that the old "key" talents...the ones that you pretty much had to take to be able to play your class with any kind of effectiveness are going to just be baked into the spec and automatically given to you whenever you hit the requisite level.
Oct 23rd 2011 6:44PM Riiiight. Consider me a herpderp.
I guess it just strengthens my point. Maybe if some of these recent legendaries weren't in the middle of an expansion, it wouldn't feel so weird.
Oct 23rd 2011 6:37PM Was there another one from BC that I'm forgetting or are you counting the glaives as separate?
Oct 23rd 2011 6:11PM That being said, I do understand the purpose they serve (getting the harder of the hardcore interested in raiding). Just from a lore perspective, they don't make much sense.
