Dec 18th 2011 11:46AM Have you ever seen a word misspelled as much as Tentacles the past few weeks?
Oct 19th 2011 10:09AM I usually play the first 3/4's of an expansion in the pve environment and then switch to pvp. Keeps things a little fresh for me. I have 9 85's and the last one very close. Learning how to pvp on a different toon keeps me occupied, then if I get bored I try a new class in pvp or a new spec.
Oct 17th 2011 9:48AM I have played the Undead starting area and silverpine. Listen to her speech as you ride from the first "town" to the second "town" with her. She talks about how Lorederon is the rightful lands of her people and how the Alliance seeks to drive them out, taking away their claim. Gilneas isn't her doing its Garrosh's. He instructed her to attack and give the horde a major port near Stormwind. Actually during her short story you see the Orcs plan for the Undead. Use them as meat shields. She showed up just in time to stop Garrosh from using her race as fodder to soften the Worgen for the orcs to finish the job.
She didn't steal the Valks, they came to her. And they have now rez'd her twice as she tried to commit suicide off the Citadel in Icecrown. They offered their services to her, she didnt steal or force them to her service.
And she only uses them to keep her race from dying out because Garrosh forced her into a huge war with Gilneas with no regard for her people.
Oct 17th 2011 8:51AM I say Gallywix or Moria. As far as major characters? Maiev or Jared probably will bite the dust sooner then later.
Oct 17th 2011 8:46AM You know that contest in game to hand faction leader stuff and it keeps a vote who is the most popular? She was hands down winner across the realms. That speaks popularity.
Is she really evil? Take away the plague and the Valks, the aliiance would have eliminated her race already. Her race lost its purpose with the Lich King dying. They want to be left alone in Lorederon. Yes they have the chant death to the alliance death to the living. But the living abandoned them, keep in mind most of these people are remnants of the strongest human kingdom. They supported Stormwind when it was sacked. They watched Gilneas close their walls to them in a time of dire need. They watched as the Stormwind king chastised Gilneas but saw him do the same thing to them.
I understand that Stormwind doesnt see these people as the same, but the undead sure do. I love the undead story, I think no race in the game comes close to the trials we've seen the undead go through.
Does anyone see Maiev as evil? She lost her purpose and turned around and did some questionable things. Sylvanas is no different.
Oct 14th 2011 8:37AM It would be tough to turn that city into an Alliance capital city since its under constant attack from the Forsaken. Sylvanus will not just stand by and allow the Alliance to retake the city and live peacefully there. Non of the capital cities face a threat like Gilneas would. World PVP makes much more sense then a capital city.
The battleground as mentioned above wouldnt interfere because its more for the resources outside the city. It would actually mix pretty well with a world pvp site like WG or TB.
PVP players have been hammering Blizz to give more pvp content and this would be the perfect place to start, not sure it will happen during this expansions lifetime.
Halloween is supposed to bring more Gilneas/Forsaken storylines so we have to wait a week to find out what happens with that.
Blizzard should have made portals between the capital cities allowing players to get back and forth easier between them, it would breathe more life into the dead cities like Exodar, Darn, IF, UC, Silvermoon, and TB.
I actually miss UC as it was my city of choice in Wrath to go train/AH. I only go now to try and get the last cooking/fishing dailies I need for the Achievo.
Sep 23rd 2011 9:58AM I have like 120 JC tokens think the epic patterns will be available through that system or off vendors like in BC
Aug 8th 2011 5:20AM Question for the Queue:
When the original cata video was released it said the cataclysm destroyed the wall allowing the undead to attack. But in the worgen starting area the undead are attacking before the cataclysm happens as we're in a basement when it hits. what gives?
Jul 5th 2011 8:23AM I proof read titles :)
Jun 27th 2011 8:11AM I would have picked an East Coast Server, not the West coast server my army currently resides in.
