Jul 12th 2011 2:03PM I use the exact same setup (but using belkin n52te, before it became Razer's Nostromo) with the button layout on screen. Just like Steppinrazor, I use mod keys, but not the same way. I use the big thumb button as jump (useful for jump disengage) and the small round button above the 4way pad as ctrl mod. My Naga is mapped to numpad keys and the nostromo to F-keys and numbers, with one of those top right buttons as tab and the other as shift mod.
This way, i have 2 complete sets of bars without mod, 2 sets with ctrl mod and a couple of keys with shift (shift plus numpad doesnt work so well....) and by using Bartender4, i show only the appropriate actionbar corresponding to the mod key I'm using.
I don't think i would eb able to go back to mouse and keyboard only and you get used to 4way thumb movement astonishingly fast. just bind it to left right up down keys and keybind left and right to strafe (who needs to keyboard turn anyway) and you're good to go with all the strafing action you want.
It's something to try for sure!
Oct 12th 2010 2:09PM Can't wait to have to reforge down crit because I'm overcapped lol.
Oct 9th 2010 12:43PM Well obviously i didn't know all that, or i wouldnt have talked about it out loud lol. Thanks for the info and im glad i wont have to be non-legit comes 4.0.1.
Oct 8th 2010 7:30PM Hmmmm i was unaware of that, thanks for pointing it out! I'll make sure to tell all my friends not to say it out loud.
Oct 8th 2010 6:21PM quick question. If I'm using a Belkin n52te or G15 keyboard w/ "repeat while pressed" macro on special keys (let's say repeat every 50ms), should i set the Custom Latency Tolerance Value higher or lower? How will these changes affect me or other such users?
Oct 7th 2010 5:38PM will the conversion happen at cata or at 4.0.1? will i be able to buy the 310% skill when 4.0.1 comes out!?
Sep 24th 2010 11:06AM ndeed, the Belkin n52e is a GREAT piece of hardware and helped me make my gameplay much more efficient, less tiring (button spamming is a thing of the past w/ "repeat while pressing" function.) plus, my interface is now made with this gadget in mind so im not sure i could play w/o it anymore....Great buy imho, I thought about adding a razer naga over that, but it'd be overkill and the repeat function sells the Belkin to me more than the naga.
Aug 17th 2010 2:08PM guess the gf would enjoy it :P
Aug 12th 2010 2:52PM Just cant wait to work on my UI...i smell the over-use of Power Aura...and a more visible (i.e. middle of screen) way to track Focus....w/ focus cost estimates on bar....i feel like addon writers are going to have fun with MM hunters!
