Scattered Shots: How to tell your friend he's a huntard {WoW}
Jul 29th 2010 2:52PM Believe me I tried to tell him Str does barely anything useful for a hunter but it just didn't sink in and he carried on needing and winning drops he really shouldn't have. I hope the WoW community can forgive my failure to train this one, clouded was he.
Scattered Shots: How to tell your friend he's a huntard {WoW}
Jul 29th 2010 2:20PM I recently had a friend join WoW and thought it would be a good idea to show him the ropes, he decided to roll a hunter and good lord trying to explain hunter stuff to him was like banging my head against a brick wall. I'll give you a typical example of us in a dungeon:
Friend: That's a nice weapon
Me: It's got Str on it, much better for the dps warrior
Friend: But I melee a lot too
Me: You're a hunter you really don't need the weapon
Friend: Yeh but I like to melee a lot
Me: Why did you make a hunter then?
Friend: Cause I like shooting stuff and I get a pet
Friend: /need + win
DPS War: /rage
Me: /palmface
Clearly he isn't the only one, hunters can use pretty much all the equipment and some boneheaded people can't appreciate someone else might need something a lot more then them, is it plain assholism or people just not understanding the class properly?
