Aug 2nd 2010 1:40PM Of course it's a breach of trust, and I'd say you're better off out of it.
But surely alarm bells would have started ringing when the GL and the 'recruit' were never online at the same time? Maybe it's just me being a suspicious old bastard, but whenever someone new or that I don't know appears on the scene and acts up, or finds a way to communicate with me out of the blue, I always watch to see who isn't online when he/she is. It's not foolproof and they could still be using a separate account, and to even think about having to keep tabs is probably a bad sign, but it's something to consider.
