Shifting Perspectives: Feral DPS changes in patch 4.0.6 {WoW}

Feb 3rd 2011 1:41AM I too am hoping they will give us feral some kind of glyph or cd. This is weird they are adding this- the only people I see complaining about us having these abilities are mages.

To anyone who started the mindless and generic.. 'Don't QQ.' responses- Disagreeing and being mystified is not crying.

Blizzard strikes gold sellers with Paypal notices {WoW}

Jan 29th 2011 2:50AM If you are spending real world money to buy in-game fake gold.. you have some serious self worth issues. Why even play the game?

I enjoy the journey in advancing a toon. How can you feel good about your toon and achievements in WoW if you cheat like that?

Breakfast Topic: What mods could you not live without? {WoW}

Jan 28th 2011 8:23AM Vuhdo-Bagnon-Bartender-Omni CC-Skada-DBM.. I know thats more than needed... but i need them.

Breakfast Topic: The newbs in your life {WoW}

Jan 16th 2011 8:41AM A few of my coworkers, family and friends tried WoW out a few years ago and I have gotten 2 of them to get back into the game. But the main reason most of them gave me for not liking the game was generally because of some bad experience(s) with other players.

I think that is because unlike other games where you can change your name.. and go on with your life after something stupid happens, it is different in WoW.

Just some people have a low tolerance for some of the idiots in the game.

Patch 4.0.6 patch notes update for Jan. 14 {WoW}

Jan 15th 2011 1:16AM "Restoration: Disentanglement (new specialization): Causes shapeshifting to remove roots in addition to snares."

That is a relief!

Drama Mamas: The case of the gold-selling guildie {WoW}

Jan 14th 2011 4:00PM He is so disabled to work a desk job, but not so much he can play WoW.

Sorry to sound harsh, but I was born with Spina Bifida Myelo and just spent 3 1/2 years moving heaven and earth to help my little man beat cancer. (We lost him in May at 5 years old).

It is called priorities and being an adult.

Sorry.. this guy just sounds sorry, excuse making and downright a con.

Ghostcrawler responds to heroic dungeon difficulty complaints {WoW}

Jan 12th 2011 9:59PM Coming from someone who enjoys being a tank, healer and dps- the changes in the new raids/heroics are demanding one thing above all else- smart dps. If you do not have smart dps, you will fail.

I stated this to someone once, and immediately he reacted- "YOU CAN"T BLAME DPS FOR EVERYTHING"

He is an example of dumb dps and he is not someone who has ever tried his hand as a tank or healer. The reason I see a lot of dps getting upset now, is because they have been conditioned into feeling good about being the top damage giver in the shortest amount of time. The new dungeons are shining a blinding light on bad habits.

Humility is not a bad thing.

The Lawbringer: Lagpocalypse 2010-2011 {WoW}

Jan 7th 2011 6:18PM The issues with the few broadband providers is going to get worse until more competition opens up.

I remember back in the mid 90's when some of the ISP's were grandstanding that in the near future they would just have to charge by the megabytes instead of flat fees. This was coming from providers who offered T1 down to 14.4kbps.

This has been a result of the old Ma Bell business model. They used to charge long distance by the minute and still did even when cell companies and internet phones started replacing their services. All the Baby Bells are now one merger away from Ma Bell again if AT&T and Verizon ever merge. (lord help us)

The ISPs mentioned and many more are no longer trying to open the pipes anymore to fix all these bandwidth 'problems' because they just want to start charging for the amount you use. Just like paying for long distance.

Competition will fix this unless some legal shenanigans stops it again.

The Daily Quest: Uldum and other uproar {WoW}

Jan 7th 2011 9:30AM I never thought of that, but they/you are right. I enjoyed Uldum, but was surprised that so much of it was devoted to reoccurring Indiana Jones joke. I found myself thinking that it was going to end and when it did, there were no more quests.

Still, I think there will be a lot more potential for the zone. The instances are fun.

WoW Moviewatch: Looking Back {WoW}

Jan 6th 2011 12:36PM Very nice. I just wish they would put more crap over the screen. :P
