Jun 1st 2011 2:53PM It means "the most powerful of the beasts that will eat you alive before you manage to tame it". Blizzard is making sure that playing as a Hunter doesn't become "Cat/Wolf only plz" again.
Jun 1st 2011 1:16AM Of course it's because of PvP. Every nerf is because of PvP. Why? Because they want talents and skills to do two very different things in two very different settings, but with the same basic format.
An easy fix? Change all skills to do different things depending on whether you're in a PvE or PvP setting, and make a second version of the Talent Trees that's PvP-oriented and you can switch between the versions at will.
Jun 1st 2011 1:05AM @Mitawa, what they mean is "Most powerful of the eight beasts before it is tamed, making it an especially challenging challenge", not "This pet is the new wolf/cat".
May 27th 2011 4:37AM Sometimes people need reality kicked into their spines. Throwing a hissy fit at a video game is one of those times.
May 26th 2011 7:04AM I'm very tolerant, unless said opinions are blatantly retarded or whiny. Screaming bloody murder over a slight nerf to NORMAL raids counts as both. If you're that vested in wanting super-hard content that only you can clear, play Kaizo Mario World.
May 26th 2011 6:04AM It is so amazingly hilarious to see people raging over the fact that they can't be special little snowflakes anymore and be the only ones to see the endgame content in a MMORPG.
Grow up, calm down, and go outside. If you really need to be the elitist asshole in a video game to make yourself feel better/superior, what a sad sad creature you are. If NORMAL-MODE nerfing makes you piss your pants in rage, you need to get your priorities in check. And if the very IDEA of more people making it to endgame content (which is something you want to have happening in a video game, it's not very smart to make it so only 5% of your player base ever sees the climaxes of the game) fills you with such Hulk-smashing impotent fury... I don't know what to say, other than GET A FUCKING LIFE.
May 23rd 2011 7:07PM People blast through content as fast as possible, then complain that they have nothing to do. Maybe if they slowed down and enjoyed the game instead of treating it as a race to the finish, we'd have less of a problem. Not to mention the myriad morons who don't seem to understand the amount of time, work and money that goes into making video games, especially games as complex as MMORPGs.
It's a time-honored problem. People want it all, and they want it now, and they're never satisfied.
May 23rd 2011 3:06AM Well excuse Blizzard for wanting to take six-year-old content and update it to fit the story's timeline. I'm certain you were perfectly happy with the static, stale and schizophrenic setup of Azeroth's old content.
Sure, we could have just added in another new continent, or a whole 'nother world, but you'd still have to go through outdated six-year-old content to get to it.
Tell us, how would you have done this expansion?
May 21st 2011 6:28PM NIPPLES.
I want the playable models to have nipples. Why do the NPCs get all the nipples they want while we're a bunch of nipple-less freaks? UPDATE THE DAMN PLAYER MODELS ALREADY, BLIZZARD.
*kidnaps Noz and takes him to my bed* :3~
May 19th 2011 5:18PM I'd kill people to get Stampede, but then we'd have to listen to all the Death Knights crying about how we're ripping off Army of the Dead.
