Jan 28th 2011 12:03PM Whoa, this happened to me too, but only in Sunwell Plateau (ran it for fun with my guild a few weeks ago). I entered a bug on the official forums.
Jan 28th 2011 11:59AM I've had the same problem with herbs occasionally. Is it possibly a problem related to phasing of zones? Like an herb/node that is in one phase is briefly visible in another?
(Of course they should be available in all phases, but I've heard stuff about issues with that.)
Jan 23rd 2011 10:18AM Just curious about the belt buckle issue. You mention putting the buckle on, but not what type of gem to put in it. I believe the buckle always gives a prismatic slot. What's the best prismatic gem to put in there? The selection on my server seems weak. Or can you put any type of gem you want in the socket? That's something that's always confused me about socketing - does the gem HAVE to match the socket, or only for the socket bonus, if there is one? And will prismatic and meta sockets take any gem, or only prismatics/metas?
Feb 10th 2009 6:50PM OMG it's so cool! Pick me, pick me!
Jan 28th 2009 2:53PM Harp all you want. It's ridiculous that the cower (and similar abilities) bug has been around for so long.
Jan 25th 2009 5:37PM I have a question for you. Why does Blizzard hate priests?
OK, maybe I should ask, which designer and/or developer at Blizzard hates priests, and why? And how can we get that person replaced?
I have two priests over level 70, and have also leveled hunters, death knights, mages...all more fun and rewarding than those priests. There's been plenty of documentation of how other, hybrid classes such as Paladin and Druid can be more effective healers than priests, and the recent nerf to the Holy tree just makes this even more true.
Most of all though, leveling a priest is just a drag. I recently started one and even at the very lowest levels, playing a priest just plain sucks compared to other classes. This is why there's a shortage of priests - because they are no fun to play, hard and frustrating to level, and get all the blame and grief for every raid and instance that goes wrong.
We used to have a horrible tank shortage, and Bliz gave us the DK, which is ridiculously fun to level and play, and an be an effective tank. So will the next hero class be the healer that's finally fun to level and play?
Sorry to rant, but damn. I'm so depressed right now.
Jan 21st 2009 11:30AM Warren - thank you for your response. Yes, I know about putting Cower on my pet bar, but I'd like to be able to reliably turn it off and have it STAY off without putting it there. Besides, I never turn it on and I hate to waste a spot on the bar with it.
Jan 20th 2009 11:09AM Has any Blue name said ANYTHING about fixing the hunter pet bugs with abilities like Cower yet? Sooo annoying!
Jan 18th 2009 10:00AM Let me give you my perspective as a spectator who only has the standard mounts one can get from gold or rep:
I. Don't. Care.
Yes, the first time someone on the realm has a cool mount, I give it a second look (I still remember the first time I saw someone riding that bear from Zul'Aman). After that, it's "meh." So unless you're the ONLY person on your realm with one of these dragons, don't worry about being able to "show it off."
(And I'm not being mean or snarky. That's just the way it is.)
Jan 13th 2009 7:38PM Is it obnoxious to re-post my question from the last Queue? I am looking for a "DK for Dummies" type guide that really gets into the very basics of how to play a DK. I've never played melee classes (in WoW) and I'd love to level my DK, but I'm totally clueless on what it's all about.
