Mar 19th 2012 3:48AM Curse did an interview with Tom Chilton ( http://youtu.be/0KJDi622X1U ) where he says they are working on it and really want it to work out but none of them will be ready in time. At the very most they could have maybe finished one race (dwarves) but it looks like it just won't happen.
So yeah... sad day. No new character models yet :(
Sep 26th 2011 5:42PM The biggest issue I have with the two set for Holy is that most of us use Lightwell pre-pull. A regen proc before the fight has even started is a waste and I don't really like the idea of altering that bit of playstyle.
As for the four set... it's really rather pointless for Holy. My only hope is that maybe this means they're doing away with the Tome of Light talent and giving us something new in it's place. Holy-only Divine Hymn talent maybe?
Sep 16th 2011 4:35AM Priests will get the bad set.
So far this expansion we've had the kitchen sink on our shoulders, a fish bowl helm, and a toilet bowl helm. T13 is bound to be a toaster, and not of the awesome cylon variety.
Jun 29th 2011 10:02PM I was under the impression that the new BoE binding rule only applies if you are grouped through the Dungeon Finder tool.
Jun 22nd 2011 8:39AM O.o
Chaka Khan is a funk singer from the 70s, not an 80s band.
Jun 7th 2011 4:57AM "Holy will want to shy away from spamming HoTs, though, in case they get targeted by Engulfing Magic."
Except, you know, our mastery stacks HoTs on every person we heal. Watching a holy priest with Engulfing Magic is like watching a hundred mages standing on top of each other spamming Arcane Explosion. Quite fancy!
May 5th 2011 1:00AM My fellow raiders use my lightwell regularly. Even so, I'm not particularly excited about getting a second one who's position I cannot control. The only way I see this being interesting is if we could potentially end up with several of them out at once :P
May 4th 2011 4:10PM @Maccabeus: Fair point. I guess it just feels like the first time because of how differently the "random adventurers" aspect was handled. With the Lich King grooming us for his army the entire time we were questing through Northrend, it comes across as a much more meaningful piece of lore to me. Almost as if the group that put an end to the Lich King could be considered somewhat of a major lore figure itself now.
May 4th 2011 11:26AM I think that the Lich King may just be the first boss that we, the adventures, actually did kill lore-wise. All his RP during the fight is about how he put us through tests to lure Azeroth's strongest fighters to his throne so he could raise us as his greatest champions ever. Tirion (and Terenas' spirit) foiled his plans and helped us defeat the Lich King, but I do believe we actually get some credit for it.
Of course, everything that happened on the top of the Frozen Throne is top secret at this point, so the general population of Azeroth probably has no clue the adventures were there, but the way I see it... lore probably does say that a merry band of Azeroth's finest random people helped bring the Lich King to an end.
This is quite different from other bosses, like Onyxia where lore has been written to give Varian all the credit :P
Dec 22nd 2010 5:04PM My guild just switched over to Mumble recently, winning this would be really nice! :)
