Oct 1st 2010 1:47PM Holy crap Razzanor, WoW Insider is the last place I thought I'd see an Allie shout out.
Sep 15th 2010 4:50PM My question is:
Are old instances that used to reward Badges of Justice now going to reward nothing? Or just a tiny amount of Justice Points?
It seems odd to give people Justice Points (which will be used for level 85 gear) for clearing content designed for level 70 characters (or for that matter, soon-to-be-old-content WotLK raids).
Sep 15th 2010 4:46PM Or, alternatively...
According to this new currency conversion information:
Multicolor epic gems (purple, green, orange) are intrinsically worth 55 gold (10 emblems * 5.5g).
Single color epic gems (red, yellow, blue) are intrinsically worth 110 gold (20 emblems * 5.5g).
Sep 2nd 2010 1:25PM It's all about AH deposits. A 24 hour deposit is lower than a 48h, and 12h is lower than 24h.
The basic idea, if you expect your item to sell, deposit doesn't matter much as it gets returned when the item sells. However, if you're posting auctions that are likely to be undercut by competitors, your auction is more likely to return to your mail unsold, in which case you lose the deposit.
The advantage of posting shorter auctions is, in the event of your auction not selling, you lose less gold having it returned.
Sep 1st 2010 9:39AM In this particular case, the inclusion of the video game was not reporter sensationalism. The deputy prosecuting attorney included it in a formal court document.
"...after killing Kimberly he went home and by 4:00 in the afternoon of August 17 he was at a neighbor's house playing the Dungeons and Dragons Online video game in an effort to 'forget.'"
Aug 27th 2010 10:03AM This reminds me of my guild's holy paladin.
"It's not 'single-target' healing; it's 'EXCLUSIVE' target healing!"
Aug 25th 2010 9:19AM Not GLaDOS, but:
"Are you still there?"
Very musical =).
Aug 25th 2010 9:03AM Suffer mortals, as my pathetic voice acting....BETRAAAAAAYS yoooouuu!
Aug 24th 2010 1:09PM When the new ICC 5-mans opened up, we were in FoS wandering if you could jump off the catwalks into the grinder below. Just as I was about to jump over the edge, my pally friend got off a DI.
I told the rest of the group there must be some kind of invisible wall.
A few moments later, all three were over the edge.
Aug 24th 2010 10:01AM "But a purely casual guild won't have the horsepower to get the best achievements."
This statement really bothered me. I have no problem with the writer joining a guild that matches his playstyle, but joining a guild that will be unlocking "the best" guild vendor items through achievements that he has no intention of participating in is purely parasitic.
Join a casual guild. Help them gain guild experience while getting exalted. Don't expect caviar if you can only afford ramen.
