WHOA WHOA WHOA there!!! That is NOT the case at all. Yes the tank is responsible for being geared and specked enough to 1. Take a hit 2. Hold agro 3. Use oh $#!T buttons when needed. The healer is responsible enough to 1. Heal the tank 2. Heal DPS if they can 3. Restore mana in a timely fashion.
DPS has a responsibility here too. 1. Put out enough damage to lessen the encounter time 2. Stay out of fire 3. Put out enough damage to lessen the encounter time. The less time you spend in an encounter the less pressure your tank and healers have on them. So good DPS is a bonus to the healers mana pool.

This was my invoice for my computer 2 years ago. I would assume that you can pick up these same pieces for $150 less.
IMHO quad core is a waste of money. Raid 0 is a much better investment in speed.
Sep 13th 2010 4:55PM It's refreshing to see Blizzard taking it's time with the next expansion. Hopefully the release gets done in time but I understand if Blizzard needs 3 or 6 more months to satisfy their high standards. I would wait another year if need be for a polished game.
Sep 13th 2010 4:49PM This is nothing more than a rumor. I won't belove any release date without an official Blizzard statement. More fluff to buff the site.
Sep 13th 2010 12:22PM Agree with...
I hate to agree with down rated comments but I must agree with Rob here about the state resto druids in cata. Resto druids are getting nurfed INTO the ground. So much so that people are dropping their resto druids and re-rolling another class. If you have ever played a druid the amount of buttons to push is crazy but you can be an effective healer with rejuv and wild growth, but when you see the tank dropping you will use some single target healing too.
Druids losing TOL form is a slap in the face to the druid class. It's a tree defining talent that specializes a class that has something of everything. A top ability that gives a bonus for losing other abilities. Turning TOL into a trinket is just sad imho. When GC said druids are OP that was the nail in the coffin for the druid resto tree. Druids are suppose to be efficient healers by regenerating mana while hots tick. Soon druids will turn into every other class in the game with weak hots and strong direct heals all while looking like a cow/troll. *Yuk*
I had played an end game resto druid for almost a year. On live servers I used to see a ton on tree healers....now it's like the logging company came into northrend and cleared them all out. I too have switched over to a Shaman. Tell you the truth the Shaman is a funner healing class than the druid. I dinged 80 two weeks ago and am already 8/12 clearing ICC 10/25. Queing as a healer in LFG with everyone rocking ICC gear mean 20 minute heroic runs. Woot!
Anyway I will be
Tanking on my Paladin
Healing on my Shaman
DPSing my warlcok

"OK, let's look at this again, Mr. DoubleCrit:
You're not modifying network data. You're not modifying the frame. You're not modifying anything that would allow anyone to do anything."
You're right. You're not allowing the charging the frame but you're allowing the network layer OSI application layer 7 to control network layer 3 and 4. Allowing the network layer to be modified at a different data rate than what was intended.
"If you really are a Sr. Network Admin, you may have used tools that do far more than simply increase TCP-ACK frequency, or modified packet sizes. If you haven't, then your seniority may be age based, but not experience or expertise based."
Yes I really are a 32 year old Sr Network Admin. From my experience modifying anything beyond what is standard will cause problems. Either it be voiding warranty or forcing a reinstall eating up 4 hours. If I were to install a 3rd party CISCO IOS flash onto one of my routers because someone said it will make my network 20% faster. It would void my warranty on the managed router and cost the company a few grand. Standards are there for a reason.
"While your warning about installing 3rd party software does have merit, I would highly suggest you stay away from blanket statements about subjects that you haven't sufficiently researched.
Look at the code yourself. See what it does. Read up on the registry key and the effects. Understand TCP/IP."
Blanket statements are a good thing. Because most of the time they apply. I looked at the code, I looked at how it is installed, and I noticed how several antivirus software vendors mark this registry change as malicious. Hmmm several antivirus companies see this as malicious yet the author clams this to be just fine and ignore the warnings. There is software out there that gives the same warnings. It's called malware. I understand TCP/IP perfectly well. In fact I am paid to understand and manage all services that use TCP/IP everyday.

I am a sr network administrator at my company with 14 years of professional computer support experience. Never ever ever ever use a third party software that modifies your network data. Ever. Once you allow your packets, or the technical term frames, to be modified you are allowing someone else to potentially view your data and capture your passwords.
Aug 31st 2010 5:50PM Nice write write up.
I played an end game resto druid for the better part of 6 months. No one can heal like a Druid as of now. With the gobs and gobs of healing a druid can put out efficient along with battle rez and TOL bonus to heals Blizzard made the perfect healer for Wrath. I think that is where Blizzard messed up. They made the resto Druid a little to perfect as far as healing goes. As far as utility goes the Druid class needs a shield type of spell like a cast able bark skin or a damage reduction proc perhaps in the spell damage department.
I have stopped playing my Druid because of the TOL to a trinket move Blizzard made. TOL is the shape of a healer for the druid much like the cat is the shapre of melee dps...
I have leveled 1 of every healer to 80 with Shaman being the last one as of two weeks ago. I can't believe the Shaman is the least played class. Group buffs, chain heal, heal crits procing smart heals and blood lust. The Shaman is like a combo is a druid and a paladin with a pinch of priest.
I am going to level my Paladin as tank, Shaman as healer and my Warlock as DPS. With the instance que for dungeons I may level my warlock first because the ratio of players will be much greater in the beginning and tanks/healers will always have insta ques.

I could not agree more. It is ridiculous to play this beta, put all this work in and at the end of the day have nothing to show for it. Beta testers are doing Blizzard a huge service here so the least they could do is let the beta testers keep the beta characters they worked so hard on.
Aug 27th 2010 4:57PM Straight by choice male here.
I agree with the Shaman posters here. Our class does have many advantages even though other classes may say we have to many over them. It's what Blizzard does. They put a class on the bottom them buff them to TOP of the meters.
