That's the plus side to wow armor, if you dont like it, you can hide it.
Oct 16th 2010 11:59PM .... where ave you been for EVERY patch ever released on WoW? Every patch has had glitches, crashes, rolling restarts, ect. This patch radically changed how stats, combat systems, gear works and you expected everything to be perfect right away?
As a "software developer" (notice the sarcasm there) you should know that a peice of software this HUGE being radically changed is going to have all sorts of issues.
And why was SR downvoted? He's right, every major patch since vanilla has had it's issues.

Sep 12th 2010 1:59AM Actually.... I like the new system. Think about it. How many soulshards were you using in a fight do do damage? I can't think of any. Soulshattering to reduce threat sure, but I never used soulshards except for utility spells. The ONLY reason I carried them at all was to re-summon a dead demon, soulshard someone, soulshatter and to summon raid members.
With the new system, I'm actually applying them to augment exhisting spells, AND I don't have to load my inventory up with them! OK! If for nothing else, adding corruption to my Seed victims is just giggly. Searing pain was only used for tanking back in BC, with the new system it sounds like a way to burn a victim (Us Warlocks don't have targets, only victims) down quickly. Drain soul soul sharding sounds excellent for pvp health recovery and the run speed increase from the demonic circle sounds great for getting some distance on a target or running the flag home.
As for regening soulshards, it's really no different than normal. I wish they would bring the passive regen they originally planned back or maybe shorten the channeling time on drain soul so that we can suck soul shards out of people mid fight in pvp, but we'll see what they do.

People already try and "fake cast" spells to try to get their opponent to waste an interrupt. It's not that far fetched for people to avoid dark simulacrum for the same purpose.
Either way, untill cata hits live, we can only speculate. We don't even know if the debuff will steal a spell immediately or if the spell has to be completed. Since alot of the nastier spells tend to have casting times, if the spell has to be completed then dark simulacrum will not be that bad.

On the topic of herioc leap, I can see some great applications for it since it costs nothing to use, ends in a stun and doesn't require you to be out of combat.
A) Another tool to help against kiting
B) Intercept mobs/players headed to for your healers
C) Bypassing enemy players to take out that healer in the back.
D) Extremely mobile boss fights.
E) Getting to any trouble spots in raids/arenas/BGs quickly
F) Ambushing other toons in world pvp. Watch out for Goblins and Gnomes leaping out of bushes and Night Elves springing out of nowhere come cata
G) Jumping out of a cake at a birthday party.

Sep 6th 2010 4:29AM @Pyromelter I hope blizz isn't talking about Spiritual attunement for "taking care of" the mana problem. DP is incredible for tankadins and let us play our spec out of parties and raids, keep tanking if the healer is slacking, or you are clearing a low level instance for someone and keep from drinking every 10 seconds. In BC the other tanks don't need to rely on healers to keep using abilities. DP fixed that for us and I'm going to be really upset if they don't give us something else. Like /ragequit kind of upset.
