Nov 23rd 2011 1:51PM I'll be swapping to SW:TOR. I liked RIFT a lot, but got a bit tired of it. The ability to constantly swap roles was definitely useful at the max level, but really hurt the game's replayability for me. I actually like focusing on on spec per character, strange as it was to find that out.
Looking forward to giving SW:TOR a try!
Aug 1st 2011 12:55PM When I played EQ1, some of the most fun parts of being DPS were the burns at the end of fights where you were trying to get the last kill, so that you could get a screenshot of something like "Innoruuk has been slain by Twincitiesknick!" You had to time your dps so it burned him JUST at the end for that little ego-puffing screenie.
My favorite DPS moment is still my first time I ever got the last shot, on Rumblecrush.

This one drives me nuts too. I asked someone why they did that once, and they said they thought PST was a verb, like "Pssssst! Over here!" to get someone's attention, rather than an acronym for "please send tell." Hell, for all I know maybe that's what's it's evolving into.
Feb 8th 2011 10:42AM Totally disagree about WoW endgame. I'm fairly casual in my raiding, but really loving this tier. Fun fights, fun mechanics, and challenging, even pre-heroics. Once we finally finish off Cho'gall and move onto Nefarian and Al'Akir, heroics seem like a great challenge too. Far from a dead endgame, in my (admittedly casual) opinion.
Looking forward to RIFT too. Seems like an interesting change of pace, and I'll be interested to see how it holds up and develops over the next year once its endgame takes shape.
Jan 19th 2011 9:55AM I always hated going to the gym or doing push-ups or sit-ups or anything like that. I am working around it by finding something I actually enjoy doing, and that way I want to make time for it. In my case, it's a taekwondo place. Classes are offered 5-6 nights per week, so I can go 3 nights per week pretty flexibly.
Jan 16th 2011 9:06PM "DADDY!" The screenshots you posted had me laughing my ass off. :)
Oct 15th 2010 11:32AM As an amendment to this, this class could fill a very flexible role. After all, if could charm/resurrect a healer, a dps, tank, or caster class monster, depending on the situation.
Oct 15th 2010 11:28AM I'd love to see something akin to Everquest's "Enchanter," or the prototypical charmer/psionicist. A high-risk/high-reward class based on controlling monsters for varying periods of time. I'm sure the power can be tinkered with to make it balanced.
Concept-wise, I think it'd work best in WoW as a necromancer.
Aug 30th 2010 8:58AM You know what? You're right. He was agnostic in that way, not atheist. He admitted the possibility that God exists and he took orders from Him, that he might be insane, that angels might be aliens... he was an agnostic, a skeptic with a very high standard for certainty.
