Gold Capped: Selling glyphs in Cataclysm, part 1 {WoW}

May 9th 2011 3:38PM glyphs range in price on server i' playing on now from 50g-300g, is this the normal range? because my mains server they never go over 150 at the most expensive.

Breakfast Topic: What brings people back to WoW? {WoW}

May 9th 2011 3:22PM I should mention, i did ZA and ZG a bunch the first couple days, tanking, healing and dpsing them, and had a few good groups, but mostly terrible people, racists, bigots, children, and apparent idiots. so many groups had a tpk on the first boss of ZG, i had to solo his last maze phases twice, and so many fails on the last boss. ZA was generally better, but not always, lots of stupid deaths.

Breakfast Topic: What brings people back to WoW? {WoW}

May 9th 2011 3:20PM I came back for the revamped ZA and ZG, but since my guild stopped raiding after we downed all the normal content, there aren't a lot of people on consistently. so i decided to play a mage i was leveling as a level 70 twink, that was fun for a bit, but then the queue system that was so great after 4.1 got messed up somehow and battles stopped popping, so i leveled a druid on a new server from 1-60 in 3 days in order to make a level 60 twink and raid some old stuff. that was fun during the leveling, but when i got to 60, i had enough honor to buy a full set of feral gear, and some resto gear, and then sat around for an hour and a half waiting for a game, because yet again, the queue system got broken. its something to do with AV.

i've gotten enough honor in bgs recently to hit 3500 resil which is the minimum for a RBG on my server, with my friends, but it seems those take forever to pop too. so all i do now is stand around waiting. I think coming back was a mistake. I might pay for 4.2 again, and find a new guild, but I'm not sure.

The Care and Feeding of Warriors: One warrior's view of the Call to Arms {WoW}

May 7th 2011 9:06PM actually i'm guilty of pulling while people are doing their looting thing. i find if i do that i have a few seconds to build a threat lead before they finish looting and start dpsing. otherwise I tell them to wait 3 seconds after i've engaged the mobs in melee to start dpsing, however most of them never listen. its awesome trying to LOS a bunch of casters and having the mage open up with a pyroblast and fireblast in the middle of them, destroying my threat.

May 7th 2011 9:03PM the one that i hate the most is when they pull aggro, then you taunt, then they frost nova/stun/snare the mob in place, so it sits there and either keeps beating on them or just goes back to hitting them as soon as your taunt wears off.

or when you silence something with heroic throw and then someone stuns or slows it while its coming to you. i mean its like "really? you really had to do that? i just blew a 30 second cooldown to get the other caster to come to me, and you made it a complete waste of time. thanks a lot buddy"

Around Azeroth: You have reached the end of Azeroth {WoW}

May 6th 2011 11:02AM I've seen those, mainly when exploring the world outside of ZF. but they weren't walls, and you could go through them and fall to your death.

Cooldown removed on Icy Prism {WoW}

May 6th 2011 3:17AM because of the changes that blizz made to the way that pvp queues work for capped xp and capped accounts 70, 60, and 80 pvp is really popular right now, and blue and epic gems for gear sells extremely well.

Apr 26th 2011 3:56PM my problem with wowpedia is that although they have decent articles on recent stuff, they didn't bring the older articles with them. if i'm looking for anything pre cataclysm, wowwiki is better for my purposes. also it seems to update itself faster.

perhaps wowpedia should have resolved its problems instead of fragmenting its userbase and creating 2 weaker sites.
