Jul 6th 2008 11:12PM When WotLK hits, I will slowly level 3 chars. My main a 70 mage, a druid currently in his early sixties and a DK. The mage was created on day 1 of the game back in November 2004 and will always be my main. He might see a little less play time though.
Jun 30th 2008 1:45AM Hehe, I was also thinking of ruining some DK's hero thoughts and stomping them into the ground, where only Mommy and tears can help them...
May 27th 2008 11:26AM similar here, I usually play from China, but travel to the US and Europe quite often and I am also fearing that Blizzard might think I gave my account information to powerlevel services or sold my account.
My only defense would be the leveling speed...
May 23rd 2008 8:09AM Draenei here, I am currently leveling a Draenei Warrior to 55 and will then turn into a Death Knight.
May 21st 2008 10:16PM I vote for at least one server in Asia as well...there is a large English speaking player base in Asia and we have to deal with horrible latency. E.g. for me in China the game is only playable in the morning or late evenings.
And "no", I can't read Chinese to play on the Chinese version of WoW. I tried it, works for grinding, but questing is awful.
Not sure, what the impact on gold farmers would be, but as of late I am under the impression that Blizzard has enough measures in place to keep this under control.
May 15th 2008 11:44PM I usually bring food and some consumables for buffs to PUG's and hand them out for free.
Helps everybody and lightens up the atmosphere from the start.
May 9th 2008 3:43AM but the Kaplan interview indicates that there still might be a questline for unlocking the DK...
May 9th 2008 3:36AM I just read the gamespy death knight info and I am a little disappointed since it doesn't appear that they actually played one.
It could have been a lot more useful information, when they were not speculating so much.
No real news there for me. Apart from the unlocking mechanism, which seem to be nerfed to only having a lvl 55 character. No quest chain or lvl 80 seems to be required. This has its advantages with spreading people over all zones with WotLK launching. And a tough choice, should I level my main to 80 or should I level a DK????
May 8th 2008 2:18AM In my days as a raiding officer, we happily accepted new members in Naxx gear (kind of similar issue - gearwise), while we were still struggling in AQ. It added to the guilds strength and worked for us, we never had issues with people bringing new gear to the raids.
Apr 17th 2008 11:15PM I used some Tier 2 gear until lvl70 since I grinded to 70 without or hardly going into instances.
Even today the ZHC is in my trinket rotation :-)
I expect similar with WotLK
