May 19th 2008 4:45PM I was the same as you. I turned 70 halfway through quests in Nagrand though. So I had 3 zones I never even touched left :)
Aug 14th 2007 8:01PM Reminds me of my situation, and what seems to be happening alot.
Our guild managed 2 Kara teams pretty well, and after a few weeks we even got Gruul down. Unfortunately we got stuck after that. Couldn't get much done in Mag, SSC, or the Eye. We were a casual raiding guild and didn't have enough people logging on, people who weren't taking it serious, people afk, and people with sub-par gear.
We were about a day before disbanding our guild, when we found another guild exactly in our situation and merged into a new guild. Now we have more than enough members who are willing to put in the effort and we're a full raiding guild. In just one week, we killed Voidreaver, Mag and a world boss. The change is completely amazing!
Jun 14th 2007 3:11PM Yeah that's a nice change. I'd always yell at my boyfriend when he aoe pulls to move back a few steps after one mob dies so they don't all end up in one pile. Yesterday I had to yell at him to stop moving :)
May 22nd 2007 5:03PM Oh yes forgot. There is a macro that auto loots in stealth. I don't like turning auto loot on in dungeons in case i accidentally ninja something. I believe the mod is called AutoLoot.
May 22nd 2007 5:00PM Uh macros? I wouldn't bother wasting time before pickpocketing, but by putting the macros above to cheap shot, ambush, sap, backstab and garrote, it's the same as before just more money. Pickpocketing also yields alot of healing potions, random greens plus gems. The lockboxes will refuel all your poisons, give you more money, more potions and more chances at green.
If you don't have all your stealth skills macroed to pickpocket I think you're well dumb and not using your class fully.
Feb 9th 2007 9:20PM Well this other MMO I used to play, had a mobile phone game you can play. It wasn't the actual game but a sort of minigame. However any money you make in it, you can transfer to your real account.
I'd love to see something like that.
Feb 7th 2007 3:16PM Oh and the fact that Imp Sap not only moved up the tree, but you can now sap from the front even using swords is amazing. I don't see why anyone shouldn't get it.
Feb 7th 2007 3:14PM I'm full combat swords build, but the first 3 instances I've gone to, I keep getting asked if I have imp sap. Then I realized that it got moved way up and it's only 2 points now. Having enough points left going to 70 I decided to spend those immediately my next two levels. It's great, I was able to use it the next instance I went to and be useful.
I've never encountered anyone not wanting rogues so far. I know as a healer I didn't like them because if they drew aggro they lose hp fast and they always worried me.
Jan 23rd 2007 3:23PM I think player housing doesn't sound like such a great idea for this game, however I am in favor of an instanced house/hall for guildmembers. Like how when you reached a certain honor, you could go into the honor hold areas. Same idea, but for guilds.
It would cost money to set it up, so first guilds work together to set up the cash. More money spent on it, could equal bigger sizes. As someone said, if your guild completed Ony for example (a guildmember handed in the head) than Onyxia's head can be mounted on the wall. Other such conquests can go here, plus npcs for bank, reagents, etc.
However not only that, but in another MMO I played, you had the capability to tax guildmembers, and anywhere from 1-50% of your exp would go to the guild. When a certain amount of exp is reached (it was 500k, than 1mil, 2mil, 10mil..etc) than you are awarded one guild talent point which you use to get a guild skill. For example it can be "All members receive an extra 1% defense rating while in an instance". Even things like "All guild members will receive an extra 1% spell crit rating". There can be skills for melee/tanks/healers/Paying less for repair/+bank slots/+gathering skills, etc. It is then up to the guild to decide what talents they will get, and what will benefit the guild most. It doesn't even have to be by way of exp. It can be quests given out in the guild hall, money, items, etc.
I think this would be the next level in WoW. MMO the way it should be. People interacting together to enhance your experience and play to your best ability.
Jan 16th 2007 3:54PM 1.) Logged on my 60 to taunt all the people in guild without the expansion yet (I'm east coast)
2.) Created my blood elf mage and leveled to 6
3.) Flew my 60 main to Dustwallow to await some Outlands fun when I get home tonight
Totally not what I expected as I didn't want to create a new BE or level my 60 thinking it would be way too crowded. But the BE was too tempting, and the population wasn't too bad (although getting fuller as it got later)
