Oct 9th 2010 4:29PM "Omen of clarity doesn't work for balance."
As far as I am aware, this is false. Omen of Clarity is a trainable, baseline spell for all Druids as from patch 4.0.1.
In regards to a comment further up the page concerning Tyler's build, taking points out of Fungal Growth isn't feasible as it prevents you from getting Starfall. Whilst they could arguably be better spent in Moonglow, there is simply no possible way that they can be spent in the Feral tree, assuming that Tyler is correct about Perseverance (which I'm sure he is).
Oct 8th 2010 8:22PM " Right or wrong, I am of the opinion that balance druids and other caster DPS classes should never have to fear running out of mana, provided that they utilize what can be considered a "normal" rotation."
I couldn't agree more. It seems strange that melee DPS that utilize mana, such as Retribution Paladins and Enhancement Shamans, have such efficient methods of mana regeneration whilst we have to consciously watch our mana whilst trying to maintain DoTs, cooldowns, Shooting Stars procs and our normal rotation, and even then mana is an issue we have to struggle with. Whilst I think that all of this coordination adds a much needed element of skill to the spec, it is wrong that we are unsustainable despite our vigilance.
Oct 3rd 2010 6:52PM I myself love the Druid set. It is a very fitting apology for the tier 10 dildo-head fiasco.
Sep 11th 2010 9:52AM Ah, I've only done Sindragosa on 10 man heroic, using a tactic where the casters afflicted with Unchained Magic move away from the rest of the raid.
Sep 11th 2010 4:28AM "Barkskin counts as a spell cast. Do not use it while debuffed with Unchained Magic"
Actually, I find that Barkskin is quite nice for building up a large stack of Unchained Magic, and then using it as the "final" charge on the stack. The 20% damage reduction can be really nice when you find yourself with 8+ stacks.
