Apr 1st 2012 12:14PM Just checked, you can still start threads and post in the bug report forum, whether you are flagged for beta or not : /
Apr 1st 2012 12:10PM 'Could be that Blizzard's decided to just use the forums as its main feedback mechanism -- after all, would you want to sort through milllions of feedback notes?'
I'd rather search through the feedback notes than trawl the forums for information at the moment. The never ending deluge of 'Y no beeta blizz?' posts on the EU forums makes finding anything constructive a nightmare. I don't know if they've changed it, but the EU beta forums didn't even need a beta flagged account to post yesterday.
Mar 31st 2012 6:44PM I totally agree. I've been levelling my hunter (finally) and I've tried to do at least enough randoms to get the rewards for the week. It sucks to get a 30 minute queue and then get chucked back in the queue because someone didn't notice the queue pop. I then have to wait another 20 minutes despite, apparently, being at the front of the queue.
My record so far is being kicked back to the queue four times in a row, and when I did finally get into the dungeon the tank left mid 1st pull and we had to wait another 10 minutes to get a replacement.
Mar 31st 2012 5:39PM I was wondering the same. Mr. DaisyFizzi and I are planning on levelling our monks together. Him tank/dps and me heals/dps. The new quest reward rules are crappy enough (no more offspec loot until you can dual spec and switch specs to hand in) without factoring in being forced to level as a healer anyway because the dps spec can't heal dungeons at low level.
In our case, it's not too bad. He'll level as tank and I'll level as heals, even when dual spec is available I'm guessing we'll stay as we are due to the 'improved' quest reward rules. My main is also a hybrid (paladin) and I expect I'll have to rope him in to help me level there too. I know it's been said that there'll be a vendor selling gear that's not as good as the quest rewards, but healing at the beginning of the expansion is hard enough without purposefully gimping myself with gear worse than the stuff you can get from questing.
(I went off on a bit of a tangent there, sorry).
Mar 30th 2012 9:19AM I use 'toon' when I'm typing but never when talking out loud, I'm not sure why. If I'm talking about my gals (because since the demise of 'Girlyjump' the male Bloodelf Paladin, they are all gals) I tend to use 'Pandas' for the characters in my main guild (PandaMonium, my main joined over 3 years ago and never looked back). My Hordeside characters are generally just by name, since there are only a couple of them, plus I'm not sure what to shorten 'Klatchian Foreign Legion' to!
Mar 29th 2012 5:02PM It's their part of Garrosh's Orgrimmar mortgage payment... all that metal must've cost him a bomb. He should just ignore the metalworkers/builders and refuse to pay them... cos that never ends badly :P
Mar 29th 2012 9:01AM In cloth or even leather, I really wouldn't mind, but to see my plate wearing paladin deform her plate chestpiece with her boobies makes me kinda sad. Most of my characters are female dwarves and there really isn't much I'd change, just give them a tweak or two to bring them up to date. I agree with other posters though, Blizzard are going to have to be very careful with the updates. I'd love her to look a little more detailed, but I still want her to look like her.
Mar 29th 2012 8:23AM Just a spruce up to be honest. I'd like the same detail in the face, for my dwarf to finally wear a bra, and the hands and feet not to be so blocky. I love my dwarfadin, I don't want radical change, just enough that they don't look so bad next to the newer races... they can take my whirling plaits from my cold, dead, dwarven hands though, they'd better not touch them!
Mar 28th 2012 3:00PM Firstly I have to say, I'm not a big fan of Varian Wrynn as a character, so I apologise if my lack of enthusiasm for him is too apparent. The mission to Ironforge to save Anduin was, as Mike says, not a Champion rushing to aid his allies, but a vengeful, scared father determined to slay Moira and rescue his son. However, he did stay his hand when Anduin reasoned with him and I believe it's this event that starts his journey toward being less of an angry, rage filled moron and more of what the Alliance expects in a leader.
I'm not sure I'll ever like the character, the Wolfheart abomination has put me right off him, but at least he's gaining more of a personality.
Mar 28th 2012 11:22AM There used to be, but after having a scout around my armoury page I can't find it. My holydin is also in an unfortunate pose, but I'm sure you used to be able to cycle through animations and pick how they looked.
I guess it could be a browser issue, but I've checked using firefox and IE and can't see the option. Anyone tried with Chrome or Safari?
