Jan 14th 2011 10:57PM I think a lot of people are neglecting to remember that boss fights take time. All of these numbers we're looking at reflect the end of the encounter, but what about all the way through? Which spec better for an encounter with multiple phases, one of which being incredibly difficult? Assuming DPS is all equal, I would rather choose a spec with a lot of variance in DPS bursts, aka a cooldown oriented spec, over a spec whose damage is pretty much even throughout. Why? Because it makes the harder part easier. One spec can pop all of their cooldowns at once and do massive damage to get through a phase, while the other can only keep up their stride. This isn't even considering Support abilities relative to damage done, such as CC, Battle Resurrection, Threat Management, and others. The title "DPS" doesn't mean that's all you do, it's meant to tell you what to do in between helping your teammates.

Dec 31st 2010 6:43AM If I'm not mistaken, Button Forge is an addon that will let you create as many action bars as you want. So yeah, I'd use that if I were you, Kraft. I set mine up very quickly and easily.
Nov 6th 2010 2:17AM Mr. Caraway, I applaud you for giving us red-headed-stepchildren of the WoW community something excellent to read every week. I was just this morning searching the interwebs for an article discussing the current state of Balance PVP, when I come home to find one on several play styles all involving Battlegrounds (my favorite form of PVP as well.) Bravo, Sir.
