Jul 19th 2011 2:07PM I have been playing my druid on & off for about 4 Years. Had only 1 epic Drop.

Couldnt even use it.
Jul 17th 2011 1:48PM +1 for Sons of Arugal, Stitches & Mor'ladim.
Lord Kazzak Vs Stormwind & Server Resets.
Jul 6th 2011 4:48AM My guess would be that you got downrated not because you dont have the Blizzard Brown Nose - but because your a Jackass.
You came here saying how you think this article is awesome, despite the fact that the topic is a sore point for spr based cloth Healers and also how everyone else can go suck it coz you dont play anymore and therefore doesnt matter you.
Its funny how, when you start behaving like a Jerk, people arent prepared to listen to what you have to say.
Mar 31st 2011 10:26PM A nice quiet day, A Dot class & a Loot-er-rang should help you get Both Mag'har & Consortium rep up together nice & easy.
Kill Ogres like its going out of fashion & get Mag'har rep for doing so, Loot-er-rang the mobs for the beads to hand in for consortium rep. Take a break by running Mana-tombs.
Feb 17th 2011 8:48PM Yea side mouse-buttons have me accidently levitating Paladins who think that Bubbling means they dont have to wait.
Feb 8th 2011 2:56PM @Naughtyzoot. (and alot of others too actually)
Please be fair when comparing 1 MMO to another & try to be objective.
I recently got to play in the RIFT Beta Event & as a long time player of WoW (feb 05) here are my thoughts & responses.
A Sword is still a Sword, a Health Potion is still a Health Potion, A Bag is still a Bag - It really doesnt matter what you call them or how you draw them they are still representation of an existing type of item & comparisons to any game with those types of items is ultimately a fruitless execise. There is only so much scope for change & often refinement is the better course of action.
Its not suprising also that Defualt Key-bindings are the same or similar - Any Game, Any MMO, especially new-ones value the factor that is the ease of which new players can pick up & play thier game - if your looking to bring in players from games that are in direct competition with yours, ease of use & button familiarity are sensible tools to use in bringing them quickly & smoothly into your game & helps them settle into what they are really here for - Style, Content, Mechanics & Storyline.
For me RIFT has a lot to offer - a more realisticly stylised environment while maintaining heavy Fantasy elements in comparison to Blizzards 'cartoonish' approach. The Graphics and styling of RIFT provide great atomospherics imo.
The RIFT invasion mechanic adds an exciting new element to the general monotony & grind of leveling up in ANY mmo, not just wow - Guild wars 2 looks like its going to take a slightyly different route of making quests more interactive with the environment & allowing players actions to be remembered by NPC's whether they Despise or Admire them.
The Ascendancy System for RIFT is a new twist to player developement that allows you to think outside the box for your character with more flexability to the roles you'll play within the game.
Whether these things make RIFT Better than wow or not will be totally down to the individual playing it.
Like many i dont expect RIFT to be a 'wow-killer' - In fact i dont believe thats even going to be a feat possible by any 'specific' MMO title, the only thing that will 'kill' wow will be the rising 'Choice' of available MMO's to play. Blizzard have had the lions share not necessarily because they are Better than other MMO's but because they've been the best 'choice' from a limited stack of options.
As new companies develope new games blizzards strangle hold will slowly relinquish.
I expect we'll be having the same discussions when 'Titan' hits the streets.
Feb 7th 2011 11:59AM Agreed with this comment except i was a Guardian not a Defiant.
I suspect RIFT will be popular for that mechanic alone, even though the Ascendancy system is a huge draw for me.
I dont think it will be the wow-killer alot of people are toasting but it should make Blizzard sit up & take notice.
Cant wait to try to get into GW2 Beta coz that looks pretty good right now too.
Feb 7th 2011 11:52AM He should have lambasted you for rolling on gear that sucks for your spec.
Then Lambasted himself for caring about an item that sucks for his spec also.
In case you missed it, Mastery sucks right now for SP's (& Resto Sham's according to our resident ones). Both the dmg & proc rate components are pretty weak right now for Shadow when compared to Haste or Crit. Stacking Haste will increase the proc rate but at low gear levels this is hard to do, espcially if your trying to break into raiding. (Damn hitcap)
However to answer your question - Its a DPS trinket.
Jan 29th 2011 11:24PM I Recently Asked - WTF is up with with stupid numbers of flasks in cauldrons?
I can understand 7, kinda, if your not in a raiding Guild. 5man HC's are hard wut wut.
7 for a 10 man is crap, even if you get a 'Perk' @ guild lvl wutever to make it 10, that doesnt help my 10 man group in the guild where we havent reached that goal yet. We still 3 short.
But 17 for 25 man raiding guild? Even the 'Perk' only takes you upto 20. That still 5 short.
Make another Cauldron for the other 5?, using up 4 flasks to make another 10 which is 5 over.
Why couldnt they have just gone a made them for specific raid types instead - 10 for 10 man 25 for 25?
Thats 2 Questions right there. D:
Jan 11th 2011 10:50AM On the whole Cata has been pretty amazing even if the lvling process was a little quick to the new cap.
The newly revamped zones are amazing for the most part as a long term player (Feb 05), New looks, new lore & new additonal Flight paths! all give a fresh feel to questing those zones.
Archaeology is fun for the most part with the exception of the direction marker being unable to point you in the general direction for more than 2 yrds leaving you to guess for the most part. (Dig 1: Go Left (Flashing Amber) run 20yrds, Dig 2: Go back the way you just came (Static Red), run 40 yrds.. wait what?) Its a nice way to introduce new Epic Gear, mounts & pets though.
Phasing is great - Unless your a gatherer, in which case it sucks ass till you've played through @ least half the zone. Whiptail farming zones need to be increased though, flying the river shaped Y in Uldum is clearly not enough.
Cinematics are pretty good on the whole - however they dont mind rudely interrupting a converstaion before playing out :P
Tol barad. 'Nuff said.
Lack of Distinction between 10 & 25 man raiding.
I have no problem witht he ethos that you should need to be able to do 10 & 25 mans to completely gear up by having to use items from both, that was a smart move.
As a long term 25 man Raider (and 20 & 40 mans also) I will always see 10 mans as an easier route to gearing your toons under the new system.
Putting together a 10 man is easier than 25, Executing Tactics in 10 man is easier due to the extra space awarded by not bringing 15 other people.
This lack of distinction between the two raid types has a natural knock-on effect for the recognition of those guilds doing 25 mans over 10 mans.
The new system only rewards & recognises 10 man guilds in reality as the only reason to do a 25 man now is a few extra bits of loot.
Competition & Recognition a powerful motivating forces for raiders, taking that away from 25 man raiders makes me a sad panda.
It looks to me like the future of raiding is to kill off 25 mans in favour of 10 mans.
It'll be a sad day when that happens.
