Aug 1st 2011 5:05AM i get a lot of the stories here. I play mostly solo, too.
My boyfriend doesn't play wow, and i've begged him multiple times, but he's not a gaming kind of guy (can you imagine? lol).
Eventually i started leveling a char with my mom (inorite?) but we had a lot of fun, we always called eachother up via skype and laughed our way to 85. But now we've hit endgame and she's too shy and scared to do dungeons, so i'm back on my own.
I'm in a relatively small guild, with all nice people, but sadly they're not too active. When they are, though, it's usually a blast. I love those times.
I don't pug much because there's a large chance you end up with the cliché group, well known to us all. (you can get with a cool group, but those times are rare.)
So yeah, count me in as a solo player :)
ps: i would like to know where to get more info about things you can do solo that get you those cool rewards :x
Aug 1st 2011 4:45AM What i'm wondering about, and isn't really explained is; where do you find out where and when an event will take place, if you're not in a roleplaying guild, even. I've got a low level character on Moonglade (EU), but i don't play much, because all i seem to do is the same old leveling as on pve servers.
I'm new to all this, though. I've seen people roleplay, but i feel like it's wrong to stand around and 'listen in'.
Jul 27th 2011 7:17PM oh, and still no wow related apps for Symbian?
I am disappoint. :(
Jul 27th 2011 7:17PM I think a healing simulator would be a good idea for people wanting to learn healing without getting an earful each time they enter a dungeon.
Jul 27th 2011 10:38AM Yup. Wand. I haven't seen a single drop yet, and there's not even anything better on the auction house :( well maybe there was but someone else may have bought it before i saw it then.
Jul 17th 2011 4:58AM I'm still a learning mage..
But i noticed no mention of Time Warp. Does no one use this? I know it's a cooldown, but i use it in boss fights so me and my group can benefit... Is this not the right way to go? Just asking, really, because i still have much to learn :x
I'm specced arcane atm, and usually my rotation goes a little like this;
-sheep if needed, arcane power whenever it's ready
-arcane blast/arcane missiles/arcane barrage
-aoe when there's multiple small mobs
-i'll sometimes pop mirrors when fighting a boss or when i'm in trouble.
-invisibility/mana shield/ice block, when i'm in real trouble :x
is this any good? I've just adapted to using this method on my own without reading much guides, but now that the topic came up i'd like to ask :)
I'm certainly going to try and weave counterspell in there.
Jun 27th 2011 1:52AM there's only one word for this.
Jun 15th 2011 7:42AM What I really want to see is the wow mobile apps to become available on symbian.
I feel left out. D:
Jun 3rd 2011 4:51AM I've leveled a mage up to 80 together with my mom (yes you read right), who plays a paladin.
We mostly played together unless our schedules didn't match. It took a long time since we only played a few hours a week, so we allowed eachother to level a little by ourselves, but never more than 3.
Now we're about to hit the cata content (admittedly i've already peeked a level ahead in hyjal because i love it.).
What made it easy is that we always called eachother on skype so i could explain the quests and which guys we needed to kill.
I still wish my boyfriend woul play wow though.... but i simply can't get him into it. :(
Jun 1st 2011 4:56AM Poor prison guard, now he's stuck in a perma-facepalm.
That can't be good for him.
