Feb 20th 2012 11:11AM You can also go into BWL solo iirc. At least, if you are in a non-raid party it'll give you each solo instances of MC and BWL. It might be a 40-man raid thing.

Nov 4th 2011 5:36PM I think part of the problem is the binary nature of eclipse -- it's either a ton of extra dmg or no extra dmg. If the extra dmg scaled dynamically with current lunar/solar energy, it would be less punishing. IE, 100 lunar energy gives your arcane spells 100% of the extra dmg from mastery; 50 lunar energy provides 50% of the extra dmg from mastery. The game would then be to cast the off-spell just enough to keep your energy high for the on-spell nuke.
If implemented like this, theorycrafters would quickly determine which side of the energy bar to stay on and the other side would be ignored. Not too compelling. To combat this, make Starfall single-target, remove Sunfire, and make sure Moonfire is slightly more powerful than Insect Swarm. Hurricane, Mushrooms, and Typhoon still do nature dmg. This would mean that the preferred side for single-target dps is Lunar, and the preferred side for AoE is Solar.
If a Starfire provided 25 - 35 solar energy and a Wrath provided 15 - 20 lunar energy, transitions from one eclipse to another could be pretty quick when an AoE phase was anticipated. If there was frequent need to AoE, a solar-side rotation would still be good, with the AoE capacities very good.
Yes, it would still be a game to balance your on-spell nuke with the off-spell energy recharge, but that's a more compelling game than the current binary version.
Aug 10th 2011 11:07AM Don't know if we need an AOE silence. But all DK tanking AOE threat uses runes, which get used up for surviability and debuffs. We need a runic power dump that causes aoe threat, especially if it can be used at range. Hitting three targets like Avengers Shield would be fine, doesn't have to hit an unlimited number.
Aug 9th 2011 11:42PM I totally disagree that this name tells less than previous expansions. Look at the comments in the announcement of the Cataclysm trademark on this website: http://wow.joystiq.com/2009/07/01/blizzard-files-trademark-for-cataclysm/
No one had a clue who the final boss was going to be or what was going to happen, just like now. There are some good guess, on par with the guesses about Mists of Pandaria now. There was the same percentage of people who didn't believe it would be a WoW xpac as there are now. What Cataclysm was all about didn't become clear until Blizzcon 2009, and by Blizzcon 2011 we'll know what this xpac is all about and be excited for it.
Sep 17th 2010 3:26AM I do the same thing, but my movement keys are W,E,R,D.
Also, I generally don't use 1,2,3,4,5. I mapped these to A,S,F,G,T
Q is interrupt or "oh shit"
Z,X are utility or CDs
C,V,B are usually AoE spells or an alternative rotation of some kind
Also have a mouse button 4 and mouse button 5 (usually CC or taunt).
I generally mouse click major CDs. I generally don't use shift or ctrl modifiers except for pet commands.
Important! Changing keybinds will make the next time you group a disaster, especially if you're a tank or healer. People will hate you. But, after a couple times you will see the dramatic improvement that remapping keybinds gives you.
