Breakfast Topic: Are you there to down the boss or top the meter? {WoW}

Aug 15th 2011 8:21AM Doing good dps (both single-target and AoE), effectively using your utility abilities, staying out of the fire and being otherwise kind to your healer's is your responsibility IMO, as long as you are doing the minimum dps required to meet whatever time criteria you have, you are essentially doing what you are there for, that said, it doesn't mean you shouldn't be pushing more all the time.
Personally, if the raid kills the boss, the raid was a success, and as long as I'm doing above the minimum requirement's and doing my best to push it further, without hindering my ability to be positionally correct, I see that as a personal success.

Blood Pact: Do warlock pets need to be redesigned? {WoW}

Apr 4th 2011 5:43PM You make an interesting point sir.

Personally, I like the way things are now (to an extent), and wouldn't like to be hunterified at all.

Destro - imp, clear to me.
Afflix - succubus, evil shadowy malicious pet, give them more things like shadow bite effect, making them fit the spec more.
Demo - Felguard by far, they spec for better pets, so give it to them
Soloing - Felguard if Demo, Voidwalker if other,
PvP - Depends what you come against, Felhound is generally the best as you said, but both Succubus and Voidwalker, have their benefits. Once again, Demo could use Felguard.

All that said, bring on 4.1, where I can use my lovely felpuppy once more and Drain Life filler like affliction should be, so all fine by me :D

Tuesday Morning Post: Rearrangement envy edition {WoW}

Mar 29th 2011 7:47AM Great news, wanted to move my chars around for AGES.
Just a note, I'd love to be able to move some of my chars I never go on to an inactive tab, (where they can stay or be moved out of easily) to further clean up my cluttered login screen.
What do you think?

The Queue: Boats {WoW}

Jan 22nd 2011 1:30PM You can't use travel form indoors.

Breakfast Topic: How does your character react to quest storylines? {WoW}

Jan 22nd 2011 8:11AM I adore playing malicious and sinister quests on my warlock, because thats what he would do. Whereas, I reluctantly grind my way through the same quests on my druid for example. Unless you are pretty boring, its hard not to get involved.

Scattered Shots: Why hunters are better than every other class {WoW}

Jan 13th 2011 2:41PM Rolling a hunter after my exams :>

Reader UI of the Week: Almagest's UI {WoW}

Dec 21st 2010 5:12PM Nice UI, mine looks relatively similar, but without any arty addons, /approve :)

Breakfast Topic: What instance do you enjoy the most? {WoW}

Dec 21st 2010 8:11AM All the ones that make me think of indiana jones, like Blackfathom Deeps, Uldaman, Ulduar etc, such a cool atmosphere. Although, being a warlock, sunwell, seeing all the demons makes me very happy :D

Arcane Brilliance: A Cataclysm 101 guide for mages {WoW}

Dec 5th 2010 8:17AM I think people failed to see the point of my first comment. Its about arcane in pve, nothing else, I commented on the rest for completeness.

Fire I can accept, fine, if you can get it to work without making frost pvp rediculous, I'm fine with it. But it comes to this point again, Arcane needs a serious revamp, it was a 3 button rotation before 4.0.1, many good mages ignored it simply as it was dull and took little skill to play. But what I simply don't get is how they thought simplifying it even more was a wise move, add maybe an extra procs, even a dot or 2, make arcane missiles and barrage worth using, and there, you have a 6-7 button rotation.

Yes, I play a warlock, but lore-wise I don't mate mages, we took 2 different paths in attempt to prosper, but when blizzard make one spec so mindlessly overpowered, things need to be sorted.

Taking the moral highground in a forum thread will get you nowhere, and nit-picking people posts apart is immature and takes little conversational skill (coincidence?!).

Breakfast Topic: Do you collect non-combat armor? {WoW}

Dec 3rd 2010 8:06AM Yes definately.
The aesthetics of WoW play a huge part (imo at least), and gear, not just armoUr, plays a huge part of the aesthetics.
People often call it RP gear, which it doesn't have to be at all, I have 3 bags in my bank dedicated to cool gear, for nostalgia and 'hey this gear set makes me look badass' purposes.
