Nov 8th 2010 5:20PM Well, the weird Spanish translations trend started with TFT. They replaced the fun "girocóptero" with the boring "Máquina voladora" ('Flying machine') and the meaningful "Wyvern" with "Jinete del viento" (¿'wind rider'?), and it went further with WoW (¿Malfurion/Illidan Stormrage becomes Malfurion/Illidan... "Tempestira"??? Why, Blizzard? Why?). Sometimes their translation philosophy really shines (I loved "Los Campos Alabeados" (The Warp Fields), "Fiordo Aquilonal"* (Howling Fjord) and some other examples), but usually ranges between the acceptable and the annoying (the already quoted "Tempestira", "Ventormenta"... I don't have a strong opinion on Entrañas, but surely Undercity sounds far more epic). I don't really dislike this translation policy: as noted by several commentators, a lot of translations sound weird (they suck, let's face it) but they're trying something different and original. It is just... weird

Slightly more on-topic, there are some reactions to the title but only few remember to put the accent on "más"! I know few will even bother with this small ortographic detail but the lack thereof looks... ugly to native (adult) Spanish readers.

* How many Spanish WoW players even knew what "Aquilonal" meant before looking it up on the dictionary? Me neither.

Sep 19th 2010 5:41PM @Kole, moonkins are awesome, but we want them to be _more_ awesome with a graphical update that doesn't require radical changes in the general shape, size, and /dance of the current model. Since we spend a lot of our time in owlkin form while other classes show their new gear, it makes sense to improve the graphics. I'm fine with being always in moonkin form (in combat), but a reworked chicken would be a big improvement.

A good model is that of feral druids: improved models with customizable skins. BLIZZARD, PLEASE DO *__*

Sep 17th 2010 10:01PM Since we'll need +spirit gear in order to stack the needed amount of hit, won't our gear (at least partially) help with our mana issues?

Regarding Eclipse, my two cents: one alternative system could be to remove the 45-sec timed ending and the 0-eclipse ending and replace them with some mechanic in which there's some probability (either fixed or Eclipse-meter-dependant) of Eclipse ending on [damaging] spellcast or DoT tick (maybe lower in the case of a DoT tick). This would re-introduce some randomness without hurting on-the-move damage and leveling damage. The harshest consequences of the RNG could be avoided if either the probability is zero near the ends of the meter or non-alternative Eclipses are allowed: that is, suppose you gain Solar, cast two or three Wraths and Solar goes off: then, since you are closer to the +100 (or is it -100?) than the Lunar side, you could go back to the 100 and proc Solar again. That could make rotations more interesting and less predictable (wheter that's a good or a bad thing is certainly debatable)
