Mar 30th 2012 4:24PM Ugh... Stupid phone keyboard and autocorrect type-os.
Mar 30th 2012 4:21PM Eh... Just my opinion but I hated it. Maybe I just had high expectations for it since it was the final raid of the expansion, but the fact that Deathwing was dead in the first week it was open and that it was so short and every single model and environment was reused except for Deathwing humself's encounters just made it lackluster... And then even the final cutscenes was kinda like huh? Lich King felt very epic to me and remains my favorite fight. I really felt like we were killing the final boss and when he died it felt great! I just didn't get that... I felt more relieved that the expansion was over and I've since taken the opportunity to take a break from raising.
I enjoyed the spine fight, and I'll admit that it had some nice moments, but overall it just wasn't very fun for me.
Mar 25th 2012 11:36AM Well, a tree form that doesn't have a soul patch would be a helpful start. (Assuming you arent glyphed for the old treant). The rest of the forms are pretty much androgynous though.
Mar 20th 2012 8:06AM I guess I'd fall into the ambivalent category. Nothing announced really got me excited or felt like a "big reveal". I like the direction they're moving with things, but nothing has me saying "OMG where's my preorder and when can I line up??". I know it's not really a game breaker but the fact that they still aren't updating models was a huge letdown. It was the one feature I was really hoping to hear and I almost feel like its going the way of the dance studio. I don't plan to cancel my or anything, but I've certainly cut waaay back on my play time and nothing coming has me thinking I'm going to be having my all day wow sessions like I used to. But maybe that's not necessarily a bad thing. :p
Mar 19th 2012 7:20PM The problem with a "set number of people with the top 6 (or whatever) rolls gets loot" is that in a way your chances of getting loot are almost worse than they are now. Because at least now you would only be competing for a particular item with the other raid members capable of using that item whereas in that system every roll would be against every other raid member since everyone will be rolling every time.
Mar 12th 2012 2:08PM Yay and welcome. Don't go away. You seem like a promising talent. Tyler may have been a wonderful person, but he tended to write a lot and somehow say absolutely nothing.
Mar 6th 2012 10:17PM I totally reactivated my old second account just for the free mount and lvl 80... And then after getting this level 80 that I have no clue how to play I couldn't help but feel like I did something dirty like I'm one of those buy your toons on eBay people. O.O
Feb 21st 2012 8:15AM I just think people should play the race they love most. I've never really understood the idea of playing a specific race/class combo JUST for the racial bonus. I mean maybe if you're pushing for world firsts and the game is essentially your job... But even for people who are top ten on their realm it just seems silly to me. It loses all the fun in my opinion. I play a night elf druid, and there is no way I'd ever race change to worgen for a minor crit boost and a situational run speed increase. (and I used to be in one of my server's top five guilds so I've certainly had people think I should.)
Jan 12th 2012 8:36PM Yeah, I had a group last night where one guy won two pairs of the same gloves. One person suggested rerolling for them, and he instead laughed and DE'd them in front of everyone. He was promptly kicked, but it doesn't change the fact that things like that make you lose faith in humanity.
Jan 8th 2012 9:40PM Its funny that you mention how the cutscenes and voice acting add flavor to WoW, but that they're overdone sometimes. (No, this isn't swtor insider) but it's funny that something we consider to be a mildly negative thing in WoW is the same thing that the other game lauds as a feature.
