Feb 12th 2012 2:52AM Forgot to add the other zone that stirred such feelings was EPL. I recall playing through that on my BE mage and being FURIOUS when the dwarf pally in that caravan got kidnapped. I was blowing cooldowns all through that zone while rescuing him.
Feb 12th 2012 2:33AM Playing through Ashenvale and Stonetalon with my Draenei paladin gave me a passionate hate for anything Horde. Especially orcs. I was more than happy to head to Southern Barrens and give them hell when asked too. Gave more than a few Horde players hell too for those atrocities. But that's what you get for playing on a PVP server.
Oct 22nd 2011 6:25PM My mage (who just dinged 85 yesterday) has been frost since level 10. People can throw numbers at me all day, nothing will make me love the spec any less. For me there is nothing more satisfying than opening a boss fight with a Frostfire Orb - Cold Snap - Frostfire Orb combo and watching the numbers and Ignite procs fly while trying to catch all of the FoF and BF procs that come raining from the sky.
Oct 21st 2011 8:31PM So what you're saying is that huntards can't roll on melee weapons with strength on it anymore? Is...is that angels I hear singing?
Oct 12th 2010 1:36PM Translation: Don't expect to play anytime today.
Oct 12th 2010 1:33PM So are the new class/race combos coming out with this patch?
Oct 10th 2010 5:01PM Glow-in-the-dark rogues are not rogues. They are targets.
Oct 10th 2010 4:15PM I started my first rogue not too long ago and have to say that I'm enjoying the experience. After having mained paladins (prot and/or ret) for so long it breathed a new, fresh breath of life into the game with it's very different play style.
I'm speced Combat Swords/Axes. So the only skills you have that has any aoe potential before level 80 is Blade Flurry and Killing Spree. You're just going to have to accept that your performance on the damage meters will be poor at best and try to do your best with what you have. I find that popping Blade Flurry then Killing Spree in a trash pack really makes the numbers flow on the right side of my screen. And your moment to shine comes with single target bosses.
I've also haven't had that many issues soloing, even on a PVP server. Of course I knew going into it that I wasn't going to be able to blow through everything like I did on my ret pally. A rogue works best when they stalk and pick and choose what they want to fight. You learn very quickly that discretion is the better part of valor when playing a rogue.
