Oct 22nd 2011 2:00PM None of the above. Other than the Emerald Dream, Pandaria is the second most "I really want to explore this!" place in the game for me. To see the detail in the screen shots and trailers is making me nerdgasm more than I expected. Also, if the music for this expansion is SO PRETTY, my ears sing with pleasure. Top that off with all the changes, and the graphics, I'm genuinely excited.
I think this expansion is going to be amazing.
Sep 7th 2011 7:53PM +1 for the NOH8 Campaign shoot you did. Rock on, brother!
Sep 6th 2011 2:41PM Well, we can't say that the CM's at Blizz don't have a sense of humour. Thanks so much for digging this up, this was a real treat to read as a Wrathbaby.
By the way, has anyone seen Mankrik's wife?
Sep 1st 2011 2:53PM You know what class/race combo I'd like to see?
Aug 31st 2011 2:33PM Me too! I love the Blood Elf Zones, for the environment AND the architechture. To see the craftsmanship in the impossible-looking buildings are absolutely surreal in my eyes. I love the art nouveau stylings of the trees, the buildings, and even the pond outside of Silvermoon. Even though it looks a bit dated compared to the other updated starting zones, Eversong Woods will always be my home.
Aug 9th 2011 2:39PM Oh, and if you're wondering about the music in the Emerald Dream video, the song's called "Running up that Hill", by the band Placebo.
Aug 9th 2011 2:35PM But, as you read, some things have made it in game. The statue of the man, for one. Another are the wide yellow canopy flowers that can be found in the Overgrowth in the Southern Barrens.
---SPOILER, READ AT YOUR OWN RISK---
The greenery that you see, as you talk with Naralax, found in a small outcampment with a diciple of his, is not the type you see anywhere else in game. That greenery, with the flowers, the trees, the tendrils of Earth, the sparkles coming from the stream of water, are from the Emerald Dream. Naralax asks you to make sure to not let anything from the Nightmare through as he tries to heal the scar right before you go to your next point in the area. The Cataclysm, then, didn't just shatter Azeroth, but shattered the boundaries between Azeroth and the Emerald Dream, another plane of existance, as well. So it's not just Physical and Elemental planes that have been jossled, it's also Physical and Spiritual as well. My mind was blown when I put two and two together.
---END OF SPOILER---
Jul 24th 2011 3:04PM The other Quel'Thalas before Cataclysm. You could get there by swimming from Tirisfal Glades eastbound and staying close to the land range. Swim far enough, and you'd find yourself coming and going from Western Plaguelands to Quel'Thalas. It was a little piece of land that had Night Elven Ruins like a Tower and Boat Dock. It was really cool, I had travelled there several times to see it on various characters.
Jul 17th 2011 4:29PM RIP Tony Jay! He would have been awesome if he had the chance to work with Blizzard in any capacity.
