Jul 12th 2011 1:23PM Now that is a bit eerie. That UI is almost identical to mine! I also have a Nostromo/Naga combo, and I nearly wrote in to Reader UI to showcase how I shaped my bars to echo my peripherals.

Jun 21st 2011 6:28AM I totally agree. I guess some people are serious enough that it's a necessity (Paragon, etc), but for most guilds, I don't think huge parses and stuff should be necessary. I remember the days when you could link a few achis instead of parses... I hated those days, usually ended up being a vicious circle of not getting the achi because you didn't have the achi, but they seem fantastic in comparison to this schlep!

Jun 17th 2011 4:49PM I agree, I always preferred 10-mans, just because it felt like more of a well-oiled machine, with each component doing it's job to the best of its ability, as opposed to a zergfest with some dead weight.

Personally, the only reason I found 25 man harder, was that there were more people to make raid-wiping mistakes.

Jun 8th 2011 4:24PM Even though I know the needs for stringent rules and procedures within a raiding guild, if a guild asked me to jump through all those hoops to apply, I think they're the type I'd rather not be around... it's just a game, after all!

Jun 7th 2011 5:32PM On the subject of Death Strike: I agree the 6-in-a-row trick is annoying (in the same way as bubble/lay on hands is), but a death knight can death strike multiple times in a medium period of time. This steady self-healing without totally stopping their damage output is very powerful.

It has happened a few times this week: It's only me and one opponent left alive in the arena. My warrior can realistically use Gift of the Naaru and Enraged Regeneration once during this 1 on 1 fight, making for a pretty rude amount of self healing, but once it's done, it's done. A death knight can steadily maintain a lesser amount of self healing, making fighting one an uphill battle. That combined with their kiting ability, my warrior stands little chance. I know that 1 on 1 is not a balancing factor for Blizzard, but this story best depicts the power of the ability within small scale pvp.

On a more upbeat note, I killed a frost mage today :D
