Nov 8th 2011 6:01PM Note the following:
"the good news is that the company has whooped expectations by nearly tripling its profit for the quarter over this time last year. During this past quarter, Activision Blizzard raked in $627 million worth of sales, of which $148 million is pure profit. A majority of the revenue -- 62% -- comes from its digital sales." (taken from massively)
Fascinating stuff. I think the game is in a good position to weather the oncomming swtor and gw2 storm to fight back (subscriber wise) with MoP. But hell as long as Blizz/Act is profitable, there is always going to be a WoW.
Oct 21st 2011 5:25PM Don't worry notso the fanbois will vote down anything that doesn't agree with their mantra. They probably don't realise that people like me have played and defended wow for years, and still love what wow must be like for new players. All criticism must be crushed but they will just deny people keep walking with their subs.
Oct 21st 2011 4:59PM I comment because it upsets me that such a great game has fallen so far in pursuit of money. Meh have fun being kung fu panda.
Oct 21st 2011 4:52PM UGH pandas so glad I quit. Honestly to think this was once the best mmo ever, reduced to this. Pandas and dumbing down. I guess kids will be the only players now. See you all in gw2
Oct 14th 2011 12:16PM So true. I know I for one am still subscribed because of friends i've made within the game otherwise i'd be so out of here.
Aug 17th 2011 7:23AM I had a sneaking suspicion that they were going to go all out in 4.3, no doubt to coincide with a certain star wars game coming out in 'holiday' this year. But hey we win as consumers finally consmetic armor :D
Jul 30th 2011 7:05PM As if Star Fox 64 was called that in the US! In England it was released as Lylat wars and still ranks as one of my favourite games ever. And yes the water zone was amazingly difficult (but at least the hard route to the end boss was clearly marked out as being hard hehe.) My shammy is resto but I'll be sure to point our enh. to this page ^^
Jul 19th 2011 4:41AM This is actually great. T11 may have been nerfed but it still requires more organisation to accomplish than 5 man dungeons. It makes sense that they should give valor still (at a lower rate than T12 ofc). GG blizz :P
Jun 28th 2011 5:54AM Just saying a quick thank you to our American friends beta testing the patch for us across the pond, it goes someway in reducing my BURNING jealousy of being a day behind. And yes I did just do that terrible, terrible joke have fun all :)
