I used to think I was in that mage's way, now I know why she keeps getting behind me! Good reading as always.
Nov 6th 2010 8:25AM I started out on a PVP server, opposite faction heavy, not knowing what I was in for so far as the constant ganking and corpse camping. It is a big pain while leveling, agreed. At times I thought there should be some sort of consequence for players who consistantly ganked lowbies without honor.
You learn things in this situation though, like how not to die so much. How to escape campers, and how to turn the tables. At 80, I still get ganked on occasion, it's just part of PVP. Over-all though I would have to say I am a better player now.
Admittedly, there are plenty of jerk-butts no matter where you go which can ruin your game pleasure. Sometimes you have to just rez and move on. Another option when this world pvp becomes trying, it to roll a toon on a pve or neutral realm. I did this some time back, it refreshes your gaming spirit.
Sep 26th 2010 9:17AM When selling your own wares, be willing to hold back until the price-cutters have subsided, which they will. No sense in selling your labors for less than they're worth. I find that Monday-Thursday's are usually better times to make a decent profit for yourself.
