Feb 15th 2012 9:05AM I think this mount is very cool! Way better the the drake model that's been used a hundred times. Still not quite proto-drake coolness, but I can totally dig th Asian vibe on that.
Feb 7th 2012 11:57AM Q4tQ... Has the role+ need system been stealth updated? I haven't seen any discussion on this but this is what I noticed in my raid finder last night.
On my Druid two vanquisher tokens dropped off of one boss. I rolled need on both (cause that's just what you do) and I won one of them.(!) When I was scrolling through the chat log lookin at the rolls I noticed that after I won the one token, the other token didn't have the roll+ on it. I could need on both and it showed as a need, but it didn't show the extra 100 on the roll.
Did they change how winning loot is distributed? I would think that's pretty awesome to make loot distribution more fair.
Dec 27th 2011 10:08AM It's only soul bound I you use the default "need before greed" loot rules. Typically in a pug or guild run the raid leader will distribute loot based on a highest /roll basis or some sort of dkp system. You can trade till your hearts content if that is the case to anyone who was in the raid the time the item dropped.
Oct 27th 2011 1:24PM Really? I think it's a good security measure. To be fair if a guild master is going though the trouble to transferring a whole guild instead of starting a new one, they almost definitely have an authenticator. I have an authenticator attached to my account and don't pay a dime for it. It would immensely suck if you had a bank alt guild and have it transfered away because the account was compromised.
I think you are over dramatizing a really positive barrier for the service.
Apr 26th 2011 11:02AM My question for the queue.
Last night my guild had it's 4th kill of Nefarian (my second). Both times I was there our main tank (paladin) was in charge of kiting the adds in phase 3, but he had major problems with movement. After wiping for hours we switched up tanks and got a DK tank on the adds. I play a DK and tanked LK in WotLK and I was always on add duty as well, so my question is why do DKs make better kite/add tanks? In that same line, shouldn't all tanks be able to reliably tank all scenarios?
Apr 18th 2011 12:19PM I wish this was posted earlier as I think these comments have a huge impact on peoples voting.
As a tank who started doing heroics a week after the shattering, Karsh was by far the most difficult boss I had faced. I honestly dont think Throngus could outdamage Karsh's armor and withstand the aoe damage inflicted when you superheat his armor. Considering both fight mechanics I would favor Karsh. I don't think Throngus could really be agile enough to drag Karsh through the lava pillar without taking massive damage himself.
As a pro tank now, both fights provide little worry now, but I think Throngus would have to worry about Karsh.
Mar 14th 2011 1:17PM My life has forever changed... I don't think I will every get the black stain of Rebecca Black off my soul.
Jan 2nd 2011 9:36PM Wow! What a load!
Jan 1st 2011 8:27PM Oh heck yea! I was just looking at one of these
Jan 1st 2011 11:30AM Oh yes! That would be an upgrade. Y'all mind if I roll need on that?
