Jan 30th 2012 4:26PM I'm not trying to make this a gotcha or anything, but EQ2 came out a month (maybe less) before WoW. I quit EQ2 for WoW. By the time AQ was out, EQ2 was well on its way to being a dried-up has been. That's why the concept is so weird for me. That'd be like an entire guild quitting for Age of Conan today.
It's also weird because EQ2 was terrible.
Jan 30th 2012 3:32PM I think this is the first time I've ever heard of a WoW guild being killed by EQ2. Ever. Are you sure it was EQ2? Maybe it was Kingdom Hearts 2. The timing's about right.
Jan 16th 2012 8:40PM Just to be clear ... when we say "that" we mean she bakes a mean chocolate cake, right?
I mean ... right?
Jan 16th 2012 8:33PM This has got to be the most amazing article of Gold Capped to date.
I can. Not. Wait. To see the results of this delicious experiment.
Dec 27th 2011 3:46PM Since he plainly stated that he lost his mind, it's safe to assume his grasp of time is just a wee bit off.
Dec 25th 2011 1:11PM "And then he blew up into sparkles."
This was the single biggest letdown of the Dragon Soul raid.
It was like "OMG YOU GUYS!!! We're totally fighting Deathwing as he's hanging out of the Maelstrom. Those other big-ass dragons are totally fighting with us! Holy crap he totally fell down and we have to finish him off! OMG you guys this is totally it! We totally defeated his ass! Did you see that! He totally ... Wait ... Were those fucking sparkles? Seriously?"
Dec 19th 2011 5:46PM If I win I'll be getting my priest in T6, too! Put in a good word for me.
Nov 30th 2011 8:17PM What's bad is that "what's his bucket" actually sounds cooler. Blizz could elf it up and make it something like W'hutz Is'b'kat
Nov 30th 2011 7:14PM It's not about whether or not there are things with which the mortal races can "occupy themselves" (that's what pet battles are for). It's about taking care of the biggest bad guy on the block. With the Burning Legion quietly smoldering, Arthas iced, and Deathwing clipped; the biggest bad for the Alliance just went from something that's trying to f$@k up the whole world to those green/brown-skinned, falling-off-skinned, and alarmingly-smooth-skinned a$&h@les that keep taking a s?@t on our proverbial lawn!
In short - there's nothing more important now than showing the Horde who's the boss (and it's not Tony).
Nov 3rd 2011 10:20AM As an 11 year US Navy veteran, I'm 100% ok with people taking 15 minutes to buy a Blizzcon poster on Nov 11th. The point is to have peole take a period of time to reflect, not for them to devote every waking moment to reflection. Even then, I proudly fought to defend their right to take no time to reflect at all, should they so choose.
