BlizzCon 2011: Mists of Pandaria trailer {WoW}

Oct 21st 2011 4:21PM That was exactly my thought. "WoW just jumped the shark"

Know Your Lore: They are murloc {WoW}

Oct 7th 2010 7:48AM I can't understand why people hate murlocs. I love the little buggers. I'd rather have murlocs join the horde than goblins. The quest line where you get to dress up as a murloc is one of my favorite quests EVAR!

What I would do to be able to have a murloc costume that I could wear whenever I want in raids... That I might pay real money for. (Sparkleponies, bah...)

Raid Rx: The evolving healing UI {WoW}

Oct 1st 2010 11:09AM The problem I had with the raid frames on the PTR as a disc priest is that I (for some reason) couldn't quickly read the number of seconds left on the weakened soul debuff. The time left on weakened soul plays a significant role on what kind of heal I through on a target (a PoM, Flash Heal, Penance, Renew, etc.); for example, if the shield is broken and there is 1 sec left I'll throw a flash heal, and if there is 3 seconds left I'll shoot a penance, so that I can keep weakened soul on the target "on cooldown".

On live, I use Vuhdo (boy do I love that addon), and it always puts the debuff in a certain place and puts a readable sized number for the seconds left.

So maybe I'm asking for the ability to configure specific buffs and debuffs to be in certain places.

The other feature I seem to be missing on the PTR is the clearly delineating dispellable debuffs vs. diseases. I've got Vuhdo configured to turn raid frames purple if there is a dispellable debuff and red if there is a disease, so that I know which of my spells to cast (dispell or abolish disease). This is incredibly useful in PvP (like Wintergrasp) where any sort of debuff could be showing up on my party members and I don't want to have to squint to try to recognize what the debuff is...
