Oct 7th 2011 2:46PM Here's hoping the same applies in reverse. As a Mage, I'd like to see +Hit items kept out of the grubby little hands of every healer who sees Intellect and starts salivating.
Aug 4th 2011 12:35PM Perhaps, you're the one missing the point, Adam. The OP's question was in reference to the "last few days," not specifically yesterday. You read what you wanted to read and snapped on someone who wasn't so much complaining as asking a question. Then, in your follow-up response, you claim that you're "not going to divulge what I've been told in strict confidence about the next expansion." Way to open the floodgates. Rather than even acknowledge any info on the next expansion, you might want to keep it to yourself. But you can't do that. You have some sort of psychological need to boast about some knowledge you claim to have that the larger WoW community does not. But the icing on the cake was "else you'll find yourself unable to comment here anymore." Brilliant. You might not have to answer to AOL about the editorial content of this here blog, but when you start dropping visitors, clicks, and ad revenue, you sure as Hell will be. Temper your attitude, Mr. Holisky. Outside of the WoW community, you're nobody. You're not as important as you think you are, so you might wanna drop the self-righteous BS.
Comment will be deleted and perma-ban incoming in 3... 2... 1...
Oct 29th 2010 8:57PM "In-game action Account for sale
Out-of-game repercussion Jail and bail"
Umm... no. Dude didn't go to jail for selling his account. He went to jail for defrauding two would-be buyers out of a combined total of $1600. THAT... is a felony. Selling your WoW account isn't. It just pisses Blizzard off.
Oct 29th 2010 4:30PM When you're suggesting a workaround that's in the gray area of Blizzard's ToS, I'd call that irresponsible. If said workaround has been deemed acceptable by Blizzard via a blue post, it might be worth mentioning in the article. If you weren't actually *aware* of the blue post, as it appears is the case, then I stand by my original assessment that it's irresponsible.
P.S. - Not mad. Amused would be a little more accurate.
Oct 29th 2010 4:23PM Speaking of stupid... reply fail?
Oct 29th 2010 4:18PM Scratch that. The source of this info is a blue post. So it's not irresponsible. It's just giving the illusion that WoW Insider came up with a workaround that Blizz revealed themselves.
Oct 29th 2010 4:11PM Can't wait for Blizz to swing the banhammer at anyone stupid enough to do what this incredibly irresponsible post suggests.
Oct 9th 2010 12:35PM You're assuming that my comment was intended to add value. That's faulty logic. My comment was posted solely to get off of my chest what I've been thinking for some time now. Your feedback, while welcome, has no impact on my life or opinion whatsoever. Before I even clicked "Add Comment," I understood that there was a high probability of getting downvoted if my comment was anything other than participating in a ridiculous meme or kissing (cutaia)'s ass. Fortunately, the comment-voting opinions of insignificant fanboys is something I have the ability to dismiss as easily as urinating.
I read this blog pretty infrequently. Had I not forgotten to uncheck "Email me when someone replies to this comment," there's a good chance your comment wouldn't have even been acknowledged. As I've since rectified that problem, your follow-up comments will exist for your own amusement and the amusement of your fellow, like-minded sheep. Good day.
