Jan 16th 2012 9:10AM problem is new races sell new xpacs and revamping old races to be as good as the new races is extra work for no new pay.
Jan 16th 2012 9:06AM I think you just gave us a glimpse into your mind. ;)
Jan 13th 2012 12:52PM It all comes down to price. It could suck for a laptop substitute, but I'd play wow on the iPad in a heartbeat. I wouldn't expect to do progression raiding on it, but it would be nice for general pve content.
I've wanted to play WoW on the iPad for awhile, but the only company I know that has software to do it doesn't offer it any more.
My problem with Fiona is appearance. It is easy to tell I'm playing a game with a fiona. With an iPad, I can be more circumspect. i.e. I can take an ipad to work and no one is going to question the right of it to be there. I can play during lunch and not face any social stigma. With Fiona, I might as well crack open a boardgame in the break room. Like a friend of mine says when talking about the negatives of working at home, 'what good is facetime if you are giving a negative image of yourself while at work? Better to work from home as much as you can if you are not socially astute.
Jan 13th 2012 12:31PM I've been accused of it before when it actually wasn't true. Many people don't know that if you roll the winning roll and someone else ties you that the system does a behind the scenes roll to determine the real winner out of those two. I joined a pug OS3 10 man and they didn't set master looter. I won the drake on a roll of 100, but someone else rolled a 100 as well. They wanted me to reroll and didn't believe in the behind the scenes tie breaking roll.
ah well...people can be horrible in pugs.
Jan 10th 2012 10:27AM What they don't tell you in the postcard is:
*The water is acid
*The plants are carnivorous.
*The great feast is a hellboar basted in the blood of troll children for the added hallucinogenic effect.
Jan 4th 2012 12:15PM RE GUI: the main thing I like about customizing my UI is getting certain windows in easy to see areas, like having my target be slightly lower than the middle of the screen and my raid frames slight to the side of the middle of the screen. That way I don't have to move my eyes much to see vital stats.
Jan 3rd 2012 9:45AM My main is a lock. I love him, but I really hate that I'm a pure dps class. I'm not sure how a healing version would work, but I can easily see meta being tank like a bear.
As others have mentioned achievements have locked me into my lock. I would hate to start over on other toons trying to reach the same achievement heights as my lock. Maybe account wide achievements will be a solution. (especially if the achievement lists what toon got it as I'd like to know if someone got an achievement via dps, healing, or tanking)
