Mar 9th 2011 3:10PM I have recount running all the time.
It's set for damage taken regardless of the roll I play.
I NEVER just post it. I don't even ask because it not going to happen.
It there for my own use or to help figure out what is going on in wipe situations.
Now having said that I could care less if someone posts it in a pug.
We all know what they are doing we just have to refrain from getting caught up in the bull.
And that is easy to do if you understand meters.
If someone asks I will happily post it once or twice and make no beans about posting it in party chat.
I've seen alot of post here saying that you should whisper it to that person but haven't seen or heard a good reason to do so.
For some time now my alts have been leveling in full BoA do I top the dps charts?
Not always because I already know that for dps it more about the small agro foot print you leave than the dps you shell out or the healer you just saved because a pat snuck up from behind.
Mar 4th 2011 1:53PM Used to be warrior.
Tried many times in fact a warrior was the second character I rolled.
After Cata I deleted a level 50 warrior and rolled a worgen worrior.
So far at level 85 it's been very enjoyable.
What I can't seems to get at this point is Warlock. :(
Feb 25th 2011 12:51PM I have basically switched from Mage Holy Priest.
Generally speaking, it's much harder to heal a DK tank so I tend to shutter when I see one.
Pally tanks in general are easier to heal but I lean a little toward warrior tanks. So I'm always glad to see them.
For dps, any class that can CC a caster but I always feel better when I see mages and hunter.
Jan 25th 2011 5:52PM The mechanics are different for each class so I dont see how anyone can justify "account-shared" achivements. In other words how you get there will be different.
However, I can kind-of see how some of the rep grinding might be included but I dont generally worry about those, other than say Kalu'ak, since most that I concern myself with have BoA items.
Jan 25th 2011 10:56AM Oh god yes! I forgot about the Anal jokes and the /Train I wish Blizzard would take that stupid annoying /Train out of the game.
Jan 25th 2011 10:44AM Not sure if these have already been mentioned but:
1. Standing on the FP! ..... WHY? WHY DO YOU STAND ON THE FP WITH YOUR DRAKE!?!
2. While trying to figure out a new raid boss we had fairly decent player that would always focus on all the negatives that everyone else was unfortunate enough to either do or not know about, but NEVER, NEVER admit to any of his own mistakes. The GM finally asked him to leave or be gkicked.
Jan 18th 2011 5:02PM An Alt-aholic myself this UI looks to be well done good job.
My main job in wotlk was as a DPS mage however I have a semi-secret love for Healing and consequently max leveled a Priest and a Shaman - who were leveled to 85 first in Cata. :)
I've recently been working hard on leveling a Warrior Tank so this UI is quite interesting to me.
However, my most enjoyable and frustraing classes are the healing classes and the Healer specific UI's are always eye catchers for me.... so I followed the link back to Bati's Grid Layouts.
I have heard so much talk about Grid and never really took the time to really get a "good" Grid setup that I can use and have been stuck on Healbot since I started healing. (Dont take this to mean Grid sucks it just means I havent taken the time.)
Those layouts may be a good place to start tweaking a layout with all the pertinent addons in one package.
Anyway I enjoy this column and always look forward to the next.
Jan 14th 2011 6:19PM yeah I feel old because before internet I did dial-up BBS. (How may of you did that? lol)
As an Amature Radio Op, I had my own BBS via Amature Radio on Shortwave and VHF.
Jan 14th 2011 5:54PM Hard to take sides... well not for me.
Taking advatage of your guild is wrong. The guild is there for everyone not just 1 person.
Game cards sound like an excellent idea if you want to help your friend.
Jan 12th 2011 5:52PM I think what I find the hardest about the Cata dungeons is not the content, the bosses, the mobs etc. what I find the hardest is the communication with your fellow dungeoneers.
"Everyone on the same page please" is the toughest part of the new dungeons.
