The Queue: The last Friday, the last weekend, the last kiss {WoW}

Dec 3rd 2010 2:32PM I was watching some videos and I think the daily quest reward in the Beta was 19g. Don't take my word for it though.

The WoW Insider Show: Live! {WoW}

Dec 3rd 2010 1:08PM I can't get Ustream to load the chat I wanna Moonkin Hatchling!

Officers' Quarters: Managing the alt invasion {WoW}

Nov 29th 2010 2:25PM Identity is a good add-on. It puts your main's name that you set next to your name whenever you talk. And if that person doesn't have the add-on/name then it obviously isn't them.

Breakfast Topic: Would you pay for extras in a F2P WoW? {WoW}

Nov 12th 2010 2:13PM I pay to play WoW already, why would I complain about having to pay if it were F2P? I wouldn't be getting anything less since I pay for the entire game already. As long as they don't allow you to allow to talk in Trade Chat on a free account (Gold Sellers and Spam would only increase) I'm fine. I'll pay for it because I'm addicted and they know it.

Breakfast Topic: Which Cataclysm zone are you most excited about? {WoW}

Nov 8th 2010 11:38AM I'm most excited about just being able to play again! There is such a big rut right now in the game. You know there's no point in farming anything (whether it be materials, badges or whatever) because it's just going to be replaced. My guild isn't even running ICC anymore because we're waiting for Cataclysm to be released so we can level and dungeon together. So now I'm leveling alts which after running Blackrock Spire for the millionth time is so boring you wanna jump off of Stormwind and sitting in Trade on my 80's watching the once great raiders of Wrath reducing themselves to trolling lowbies because they're so bored.

I am an end game content person which is why I am excited about Cata. Only 5 levels and we're ready for raiding again. I plan on making a Fury Worgen Warrior after all my 80's are 85 and geared so I can get the old world feel. But I am ready to jump into the 80-85 content and feel as though there is a purpose in the game again. I don't want to be able to do my nails while I'm Druid Healing anymore, I don't wanna face roll through Marrowgar while watching Top Chef. I wanna do something.

I'm parking myself outside of Stormwind City to grab my flying licence and leveling and gearing again to take down Deathwing in a fiery battle... well in a year or so...

Scattered Shots: Reforging ranged weapons? {WoW}

Nov 8th 2010 11:29AM I saw something in the very beginning that struck me. You said you missed with Pet collars. Didn't Blizzard say at Blizzcon that they were thinking about implementing jeweled pet collars that would buff the pet but not change it's appearance? Just sayin'.

I personally like the reforging idea. I have a freshly 80 Draenei Hunter (first toon made ever, 4th 80 tell me how that worked out?) and she is currently using a blue gun from some random. I will probably farm PvP points to get the Wrathful Bow but my point was that the loot drops on ranged weapons are so low anyway that would probably be the only way I would get a ranged weapon until Cataclysm. I have run ICC every week on 3 80's since it's release and I have personally never seen the Bow off DW or the gun off BQ drop from either boss. Although in my first ICC on my Hunter I got 7 upgrades plus the Ashen Ring. I guess where I was going is that I think Blizzard could make up 3 designs for the weapons since there are only 2 ranged drops in ICC for 12 bosses anyway. And with the gear from Wrath, hardly any of it looked good anyway so they should be putting more time into their designs anyway. There are so few epic ranged weapons in the game at this point that would even be worth reforging that I think this would end up being a good idea since I'm personally a Bow fan since she was originally a Belf and a ranger was just cool.

The Queue: Talbuk surfing {WoW}

Nov 5th 2010 2:19PM This may have been answered already but I can't seem to find the answer.

I plan on logging out Dec. 6th in Stormwind City since for the Alliance side I read that you take a boat to the 81 leveling area. I wanted to log out right in front of the Azeroth Flying trainer so I can buy it and immediately begin questing. Does anyone have an idea where the trainer might be so I have a chance at first 85 druid on my server. Thanks.

BlizzCon 2010: Guilds meet up around BlizzCon fun {WoW}

Oct 25th 2010 1:47PM I think it would be so cool to meet up with my guild at any place at all. It would shock you if you discovered how many hours some people spend around their guilds a day, and they may not even know what their raiders they spend 4 hours a night withs names or faces outside of their toons. WoW can be very detached from the real world sometimes. Stories like these are really cool to me.

The Light and How to Swing It: How to heal before Cataclysm {WoW}

Oct 25th 2010 1:44PM One place I have already found Light of Dawn to be useful, Lich King Phase 1. I you stand behind the Ranged and the melee are in front of the Ranged (all in a line) then when Infest pops up the Paladin can pop LoD and heal about 60-90% of the raid directly to 100% and Infest is no longer an issue.

BlizzCon 2010: The view from fourth grade {WoW}

Oct 25th 2010 1:38PM All I have to say is... that kid is freaking lucky. I am a seventeen year old college student who lives with a 65 year old grandparent and I am lucky if I can go a day without her complaining about "how much time you spend on that video game". I spend 8-2 at college, 3-8 at work and 9-1 in raids 7 days a week. So 84/168 hours a week working and 28/168 hours playing that video game and I still get it. It is very cool that his father not only lets him play, but pays 150$ to bring him to a great Convention like BlizzCon. If WoW is still around when I have kids, they're coming out of the Womb with an Expansion Pack as a baby shower present.
