Guardian pets need a mind of their own {WoW}

Apr 24th 2007 3:56PM The mage's water elemental has a pet bar and is controllable like a hunter's pet. 2 minute cooldown.

A Shaman's does not have a pet bar and is on a 20 minute cooldown.

Therefore, mages can use them in arenas, Shamans can't. The cooldowns need to be the same and our shaman "guardians" need a pet bar so we can actually make them useful.

What's so interesting about player-controlled housing to you? {WoW}

Apr 24th 2007 11:44AM This is the dumbest damn idea ever. Someone said it best on the forums... if you want houses in a video game, go play Second Life... the game for people that don't have a First Life.

Why does everyone want to DPS? {WoW}

Apr 23rd 2007 11:02AM I've been a resto shaman for quite some time now. I can completely understand when a priest wants to go shadow, or a shaman wants to go enhancement/elemental, or a paladin wants to go ret, etc... Up until the expansion, all we ever did was heal. Heal heal heal... boring after a while. So I think it's pretty cool with all of the role changes. Shadow priests are awesome in 10 mans, enhancement shamans can dish out some nasty dps and seriously enhance melee dps, protection paladins and bear tanks are making life easy for healers, etc..

I like what Blizzard has done here even though it might make some hard-nose old-school people hate the game.

Breakfast topic: Most ganktastic zones {WoW}

Apr 19th 2007 12:33PM I hear there's a lot of ganking at Auschwitz... or was.

WoW Moviewatch: World of Warcade {WoW}

Apr 16th 2007 4:23PM Wow, the French really do fail at life...

PTR notes: Not-so-Clearcasting for Shamans {WoW}

Apr 16th 2007 10:33AM People all over the spectrum complain that shamans are overpowered. I used to think so until they became the easiest class for me to kill on my rogue and hunter. Then I rolled a shaman because I liked the versatility. They are not overpowered... they probably have more weaknesses and inconsistencies than any other class. They're a support class, so I can understand why they would have weaknesses. But inconsistencies? Come on.

This nerf doesn't affect resto shamans at all. Do people not realize clearcasting only works with "offensive" spells? Meaning... lightning and shocks only.

This brings me to my next point. Why on earth wouldn't the resto tree have clearcasting? Why not replace some of the pointless space fillers in that tree with Clearcasting?

Blizzard has become subpar in my opinion... and it appears they'll continue down this road.

When it comes to nerfs, maybe change is good {WoW}

Apr 12th 2007 10:32AM @16...

No one's leaving because of nerfs. Get over yourself. Every class gets nerfed and buffed all the time. People that know how to play get over it and learn new ways to play their class to its full potential. People that endlessly complain about nerfs truly don't know how to play their class... or play at all for that matter.

Breakfast topic: Worst new instance {WoW}

Apr 10th 2007 10:38AM Black Morass? That has to be the easiest one of all... you can farm that place 30 minutes at a time if you know what you're doing.

I can't think of the worst, but anything with a lot of trash mobs is lame. Why make us kill endless mobs? Just increase the rep gains from boss kills and stop making us waste our time.

Shattered Halls and Slave Pens have way too many mobs. Just annoying and boring.

Stuck with the auto-unstuck cooldown {WoW}

Apr 6th 2007 2:06PM Many of you have obviously never tried deleting your hearthstone. Go give it a try, go talk another Innkeeper and see what happens... NO WAY! Rocket Science

Stuck with the auto-unstuck cooldown {WoW}

Apr 6th 2007 1:49PM Drysc can suck my nuts because he's either 1) full of crap or 2) being lied to by the devs. The devs want it to feel more like a real world by making us take forever to travel? Bull crap. The Devs would hate long traveling just like anyone else, but they are pushed by people higher than them to place aspects in the game that require more time played... which equates to more money out of our pockets and into their's. Yes, it's all about making money and that's cool.. Blizzard is a business that is out to make money. But I still think the little peons they have (Devs, GM's, Forum moderators, etc...) are a bunch of d-bags. Just my two cents.
