Nov 24th 2010 11:07AM TellMeWhen is also very useful for tracking important debuffs and cooldowns and extremely easy to configure.
Nov 24th 2010 10:15AM I bought Dual Spec for my mage alt after the patch yesterday for 10 gold. I'm pretty sure it was 100g when 4.0 was launched.
Oct 22nd 2010 2:56PM With most digital games that I have purchased off steam as a preorder, you can have the game downloaded and completely installed and updated long before the game goes live. You just get a message that the game is not unlocked yet if you try to launch it. I suspect Cataclysm will be the same, but since it is not a steam game there are no guarantees until Bliz gives more official info.
Oct 15th 2010 12:34PM I can understand how this would be hard for some one to deal with considering the behavior of the average general chat spammer in WoW. Still it is hard to believe that it is THAT hard to hide this if you choose to. Sounding like a guy while playing a female character isn't a big deal, tons of straight guys have female characters. Unless you volunteer information to the contrary, are flirting, or other wise engaging in sexually oriented conversation most players will assume you are a guy until you say otherwise, so sounding like a guy won't be an issue.
In a perfect world it wouldn't be necessary to hide as the easiest course of action to avoid harrassment. How ever, if you are one of the biggest public chat spammers, openly publicly flirting with straight guys in game, and then actively promoting your sexual orientation as simply female with no further explanation when asked, then yes you are going to get alot of negative feed back when you sound like a guy on vent. While you may consider the statement that you are female to be true, even tolerant straight guys are unlikely to take it well if they were engaging in flirting with you under the understanding that you were born a girl. Much less the more immature and intollerant players.
