Mar 13th 2011 8:31PM Viable has a completely different definition than the one posted by Andrew when you are in a raid setting, if the spec is not the best for the situation IT IS NOT "capable of working successfully" and if by the grace of GOD you manage to suceed it's because your raid carried your fail spec.

Oct 19th 2010 1:18PM forgot to mention that i reforged all my extra hit and ALL spirit into haste so my scorch is sitting pretty at a 1.07 cast time and my crit chance is ??? 38% i tried reforging into mastery but it was a major net loss so haste seems to be the go to for minor stats

Oct 19th 2010 1:12PM I've been using the scorch spam rotation also, scorch having a shorter cast time means more crits in the same amount of time therefore more hotstreak/impact procs i'm finding the dps to be within 200 deeps of using fireball BUT never ever EVAR running out of mana. Since i'm specced for a free scorch cast, plus free pyro's mean the AOE and the impact proc are the only spells that actually cost mana, during a FULL burn on bosses i can manage to drop my dps to about 40% every 4 minutes, conveniently timed by accident with the evoc. cooldown. the other day against a training dummy in silvermoon i fought full out for 40 minutes and avg. 7000ishdps self buffed. against all ICC bosses i'm holding steady at 9k. going arcane might increase my dps but i can do the same dps wether running for my life or standing and nuking sourfang :) and NEVER run /oom
