The Light and How to Swing It: Cataclysm 101 for retribution paladins {WoW}

Dec 9th 2010 6:42PM What's a good rotation for trash mobs?

I noticed it's good to use avenging wrath and zealotry at different times, so start off with either or and then as soon as one goes down use the other? Is this what you do?

Dec 9th 2010 11:28AM Divine Storm shares a cooldown with crusader's strike. You choose divine storm when there's a lot of mobs. The only downside is, it doesn't generate any holy power. Therefore you are making a clear choice between AoE damage and building up to your next templar's verdict. I usually don't use it, if there's a proc I may, when there's a lot of mobs, other than that you wanna keep the crusader strikes coming because in the end a nice crit with templar's verdict will be more useful.

Dec 9th 2010 11:24AM I think they should lower the cooldown of crusader strike and beef up the damage of judgement. Judgement feels pitiful. I'm judging something! They should feel my wrath!

With those changes you would be hitting crusader strike more often, generating more holy power, therefore using templar's verdict more often. The class just needs to be sped up a little, in my opinion.

Inquisition is pretty neat, but I don't find myself wasting the 3 holy power when fighting mobs in questing. I just wait until there's a proc and then use it.

Dec 8th 2010 9:20PM We are great at surviving through many mobs, but we don't do enough DPS, imo. I have to work hard to keep up with other hybrid DPS specs (because face it we're not going to out do pure dps classes Ie mages, warlocks and hunters.) The new mechanics make it fun, you don't just click cooldowns only anymore and yawn. I'm assuming some patch down the road they'll boost us up or at least I hope so.

The Queue: Back to the grind {WoW}

Nov 29th 2010 2:08PM Will you be able to fish in the underwater zones? I know you obviously can't fish when you're swimming, but for instance when you go into those little caves and such?

Nov 29th 2010 1:50PM Can you fish in the underwater zones? Sounds weird, but it's something that I've been thinking about a lot.

Nov 23rd 2010 1:52PM I gave up on the timeline. There is no possible way, unless they were to phase the entire game, that we can have a definitive timeline. You're going to travel through time when you go to Outland and Northrend and then come back to the future. I just pretend random stuff is happening and I am here to try and help every last poor lazy quest giver.

Wrath experience needed to level reduced by 20% {WoW}

Nov 19th 2010 2:35AM Faster for many is easier. The faster it goes, the easier it is to get to the next level. I'm all for it. I like it being easier to get through older content, that we've done for 2 years now.
