Vanilla raiders should understand.
Nov 16th 2011 8:34PM Blizzard has no control over the human aspect of World of Warcraft. Obviously the hard mode encounters are, well, hard, but it's the forming and logistics involved in the human element of the game that's the bottleneck for most (particularly in 25 man raids). With the introduction of the raid finder in 4.3, we are likely to see the percentage of players who complete the raid on at least one of the difficulties significantly increase.
I really want to go off ranting about the sense of entitlement and expectations for instant gratification that is running rampant -- especially here in the US -- in the younger generations; but, alas, that post must wait for another day.
Apr 26th 2011 3:12PM While I don't agree that arcane is "Fun". I do agree with point hat many players who started playing wow in vanilla like myself are starting to get a little on the old side. And it is true that hand-eye-coordination and reflex time get worse with age. I am nowhere near as good as I was at PvP particularly as I was 5 years ago. All these 16-20 year olds not only make me feel aged with their vocabulary but with their faster reactions times as well. I'm not sure there is a way to address the issue of human againg within the game but it should be noted that it exists.
Apr 6th 2011 10:18PM So... trying to not to completely rage... I'm a Mage main you see.. the rage, it is hard to supress... Is there any way these items could be made to be BOA or something... I mean I will... flowers, beaches... I will gladly help out the queue time by tanking all day on my DK since you know it can actually Tank AND DPS if it would mean I could benefit the toon I ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT ^(*&!@#$*&(#*$(#*($^*&(^*&. Must stop... Heart can't take it.
Feb 10th 2011 12:53PM If you had 40 pre 4.0.1 I think you should have got to keep the Exalted, if you got it after 4.0.1 you should have never been given it in the first place and should have had it taken away. I think the problem was Blizzard not wanting to figure something out to sort through all the achievement dates and determine this. Personally, it didn't matter to me as I already had 50 exalted reps, just my 2 cents.
Jan 26th 2011 7:06PM I was hoping for some sort of reference to Star Trek and Tribbles, alas...
Jan 24th 2011 3:56PM It is my belief that with the way guilds are setup now in Cata with guild rep and perks that you cannot gkick someone and not expect some sort of reprisal. If these members who were gkicked were some of your more hardcore members they probably also contributed a lot to your guilds experience and achievements. To just kick them is like a slap in the face, "Thanks for leveling our guild, Later". A much better approach IMO is to talk to the players, tell them that their actions are having a negative impact on the guild (atleast in the eyes of the officers), and that if they want to continue their actions they will not be invited to future raids or guild events. Let them choose to leave the guild if they wish but they helped get your guild to where it is today and deserve better than to be thrown out in the cold.
Jan 20th 2011 4:10PM Depending on gear 22Agi to cloak is better than 65crit, and it's most certainly better than other options if you dont have 5 malestrom crystals.
