Dec 24th 2010 6:22PM This is how raiding was like in Burning Crusade. You ran regular dungeons to run heroics, and ran heroics so one could raid. It takes a bit of effort for decent craft-able stuff, too.
It just will take a bit of effort. I already have a toon that's heroic-ready, and I'm working on getting another there. After running a decent number of heroics with my guild and we all have decent enough gear, we'll start raiding. I say we'll be ready in about a month or so.
Just because something seems difficult is no reason to give up. It's true of WoW, and it's true of real life. Break up your big, long-term goals into smaller, short-term ones and you'll reach your goal before you know it. :)
Dec 21st 2010 8:13AM I've rolled a worgen and a forsaken just to see both sides of the story.
There is absolutely nothing stopping you from rolling an alt, too. Mind you, you don't have to play till 85 and do end-game stuff with that alt, either. :P
If all your character slots are full, go roll one on a different server. Use Real ID to connect with friends anyway. :)
Dec 15th 2010 11:27AM As far as I know the only way to explore those is to start a goblin. :)
Dec 14th 2010 8:43AM Considering it's rumored there's going to be at least two more expansions after this one, I don't think there will be a "last" boss anytime soon.
Queen Azshara is still out there, lurking. I'm thinking Vashj'ir is simply testing grounds for a full underwater expansion.
We only pushed Kil'jaeden back through the Sunwell; we didn't actually kill him.
We could end up fighting certain leaders of either--or both--factions.
Sargeras seems like he'd be the ultimate bad guy at this point. That is unless Blizzard introduces someone new and even more horrible. It's hard to fathom, but it's entirely possible.
Dec 8th 2010 8:26AM I'd absolutely love one of these!
Dec 6th 2010 1:11PM Ask a city guard. :)
They will put a mark on your map and give you some information on where to find what you're looking for in any major city. (Any of the Horde/Alliance Capitals, Shattrath and Dalaran.)
Nov 30th 2010 1:07AM Gah. I remember back in BC when pets didn't have talent trees. If you wanted to teach your pet an updated ability, you had to find a pet with an upgraded rank, tame it, and then fight with it till you "learned" the ability. Then abandon that pet and teach it to your favored pet.
We had three stable slots back then, and really we only had two for the above reason. Also, when we freshly tamed a pet, it didn't automatically level to 3-5 levels below your level. No...that neat armored boar you tamed at level 23, and you were level 70? It stayed level 23. You had MANY hours of grinding to look forward to level your god-damned pet. Oh, and it took a ridiculous amount of XP for your pet to level, too.

Nov 23rd 2010 4:46PM I'm really glad I can't hear his screechy roar. I'd prefer a deeper roar, if he had to roar at all.
But no roar is better. I got tired of Sindragosa on the login screen.
