Mar 28th 2012 11:12AM Rick Riordan's Lost Heroes and Cane Chronicles series. Both very good!
Jul 6th 2011 8:26AM My only issue is that I'm remembering how many times the healer has gotten accused of ninjaing a dps piece simply because they needed on a piece of gear witout spirit. *sigh*
Jun 22nd 2011 11:17AM ...what I mean is, he did his routine last year (and the year before), but I don't remember him ever turning into Ragnaros.
Jun 22nd 2011 11:14AM "It is interesting to note, however, that this is Ragnaros' last Midsummer Fire Festival, and his new raid is coming out during "his" holiday. "
Actually, I was visiting the bonfire outside of Silvermoon last night, and the tiny fire elemental did his little "I will grow up and destroy the world!" routine. Only this time, when he got really big he turned... into Ragnaros. And he screamed something like, "The world will burn in Ragnaros' fire!" I am pretty darn sure that he didn't do that last year...
Jun 21st 2011 11:38AM I would say yes, with a single caveat -
Classes, like any profession, takes some amount of skill. Especially the magic-focused ones. There are no doubt people who might want desparately to be a magician, who can't cast a basic spell to save their life. But if you mean are there social barriers... I honestly don't think I've ever seen anything like that. In fact, there's a quest in Blade's Edge where you help one of the ogres become one of the Shatari Skyguard, or something like that. So... I would say with enough hard work, the sky's the limit!*
*One exception I have heard mentioned is that until recently Night Elf druids were all males. So a female druid couldn't actually be an Arch Druid, since she probably hasn't been a druid long enough to accomplish that. But... she could be working towards that dream!
Jun 21st 2011 11:31AM Broken I.W.I.N. Button?
The Stopable Force! ^.^
Though... granted, the steamy romance novels are high up there, too.
Mar 17th 2011 4:18PM Ah, I forgot!
There is also a quest in Meridian, one of the Saga quests, where Asha shows you a scene in which a younger Asha confronts Alsbeth, accusing her of getting Asha expelled. I believe Alsbeth's response was something along the lines of "So? There's only room for one of us here."
Mar 17th 2011 3:28PM You say there was no sign that she worshiped Regulos before the fall of Port Scion, but there is a tiny hint of one - in Aedraxis' diaries, he references returning to the his "lovely Alsbeth" after the battle in Gloamwood, during the Mathosian civil war. Nothing you can sink your teeth into, of course, but it does make you wonder....
Feb 17th 2011 8:30AM I was actually impressed by the pilot episode of Fairly Legal, because they included references to WoW, they gave correct facts, AND they used it to crack open a major plot! How often does that happen on prime TV?! :O
Feb 11th 2011 4:33PM I recently had a similar experience in which I was attracted to a friend I met on WoW. He ended up moving to the city where I live. I was extremely nervous, mostly because if it didn't work out, would he blame me for moving out here for me? In the end, it did not work out, but we remained great friends. He's since moved somewhere else, and he's still one of my closest friends in and out of WoW.
So, yeah, I agree with Robin and Lisa - getting to know her is a good next step, but when you do, always keep your friendship in mind. Most of us don't have enough great friends to throw one away if we can help it.
