May 16th 2011 4:21PM I'm hesitant to even call this a nerf....I'm sitting at about 358 ilevel and can keep a raid up through a STUPID amount of mistakes (Halfus getting 1/2 dozen shadow novas off, for instance). Yeah, its tough, yeah your healing on MP5 at the end of it, but, when the group is in good shape you practically can sleep through the fight...I'm assuming this is being experienced by the 365+ geared raiders in heroics at this point...if you tank sidesteps when he's supposed to, no problems. "Perfection" is not what's being expected...just not making dumb mistakes...slow moving magic attack not getting dodged? Your just not trying hard enough and should stick to heroics.
The flipside of this is the expectation at the Heroic raiding level to never make dumb mistakes: is this fair in a world with inconisistant latencies? Perhaps there should always be a margin for error that allows for non-player caused issues to be overcome. But thats another conversation, isn't it?

The above is a world of logs report on a Magmaw 10m normal kill.
3 healed it, I was about 38% of the total heals. Raid-buffed, in combat MP5 is about 3100.
Never dipped below 30% mana, and I believe that once your holy priest swaps back to Disc after 4.0.6 drops, any increase in my mana cost is going to be more than mitigated by the absorption of the priest bubbles. Our third heals, a resto druid, was a nice balance between the two.

Simply offering some supporting information, while pointing out that in a 10m environment, the HPS/HPM of Holy Radiance if off the chart. I don't raid 25, but I have watched some pretty insane numbers that HR puts up in Tol Barad.
Jan 19th 2011 12:11PM If your timing is good enough, its a great tool against the crystal shards on Corborus...of course, if you tend to be a few milli-seconds late on things, its pretty much an insta-death.
My fury buddy equates it to a toddler splashing in a puddle...who can't seem to stop doing it. Hand of Salvation is pretty much the only thing that keeps him alive in our dungeon runs >.

Vindication causes HoJ to act as an interrupt if the target is silenced...works like a champ, too, combined with a 40 sec CD.
Jan 3rd 2011 12:24PM Haven't heard it yet, but, as a holy pally geared all 346 with a few epics, I overgear heroics but a substantial margin...even the hardest fights are no strain on the mana pull and proper use of beacon and our cooldowns make it a breeze...so "pallyz r ezmode/faceroll n00b" comments are coming and I won't bother arguing. Maybe not easy, but certainly not difficult once you figure it out and have the easy-to-come-by gear.
Nov 23rd 2010 11:33AM Paladins are hitting harder, quicker, and with the change in Zealotry it can now actually be used...we can now alternate between AW with HoW and Zealotry with TV seemlessly. I'm seeing a new class on top of the DPS charts, now that warriors and warlocks got the nerf bat. And an increase to Exo damage? Sweet; very very sweet for shockadin builds.
Nov 4th 2010 11:43AM The glyphs provide some good diversity for PvP and heroic dungeon-focused prot builds, but, when raiding with a group of DPS that have figured out their class, single target DPS (threat) is all that we can afford to focus on. I've found that with this patchs changed to mages and hunters, I hardly have time to even throw a HoS or RD out. 5 people doing 8-10k single target DPS will do that.
Minor: LoH of course...the other two are irrelevant.
On the plus side, I'm doing wicked DPS (5k, give or take).
Average ilvl is 261 (mostly t10.0 gear), so I'm not super geared either.
